What was the last cheek product that caught your eye? Did you resist or give in?

The new Dior highlighters — it’s always been a good formula… like even 10 years? ago when I reviewed it. There’s been some evolution over time, but I don’t recall ever finding one to be bad! I did purchase all shades to review, but lucky me, easy to justify!

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!

Haven’t purchased anything since I invested in the entire line of Buxom Wanderlust blushes about a year ago. They are seriously underrated and have Holy Grail status in my stash.

Jaclyn Cosmetics Mood Light Luminous Rouge in Love Poem.
It was also the last thing I bought (cosmetics wise) and that was in June.
It’s really gorgeous and I very happy with it. It’s my second most worn blush this summer.

Benefit’s Cookie Powder highlighter. It popped up at the top of MUA because someone recently reviewed it so it caught my eye and it was readily available at Shoppers but the reality is that I think I was just desperate to buy “something”…blame it on the Pandemic. It’s nice and, as Christine advised, I can always “tame it” with a bit of translucent powder on top. I’m with her, though, on Dior’s highlighters. They’ve always been gorgeous – flattering and elegant – and they continue to be gorgeous and elegant and hard to resist.

The cool-toned Jaclyn Cosmetics Rouge Romance blush palette. It has 6 pink blushes in varying shades. I’ve been looking for a blush palette like that so when I saw it and did some research I got it, and I’m so happy with it!

The last cheek product that caught my eye is the one you have just reviewed Christine – CP’s Magic Moon. I generally don’t get too excited about a cheek product because they are so hard to get here in Aus -I tried to get the Cover FX one in Sweet Peach? a couple of years ago and they sold out so quickly at Sephora Aus and were never restocked.
But I do really like the Magic Moon one.

The pink version of the Jaclyn Cosmetics Rouge Romance blush palette. I dislike JH (and Morphe) and never planned on buying anything from her, and I resisted for a while. I just couldn’t get those beautiful pinks out of my head! So I caved and got it… and the coral version was so equally pretty I got that, too. *Hanging my beautifully rouged head in shame.*

Dior Pink Glow, I haven’t bought it, the one prior to the Dior one is BECCA Hi Angel that I did buy and am waiting for, quite eagerly as I ordered it in June, a almost exactly two months ago. I am in contact with the customer service at BECCA and they are very helpful.
I am sad BECCA is going, they have some great products.
