Best Products of the Week | Vol. 298
Hope your weekend is starting off on the right note! Every Saturday, I like to share the top 10 products from the last week of reviews. It’s a nice way to highlight what reviews have been published recently. Similarly, I love reading–and I know others enjoy sharing!–their own “week in review” when it comes to what makeup/beauty products they may have used and/or enjoyed.
What was your week in review like? Copy and paste the lil’ survey below and share your answers in the comments 🙂

Look you loved this week?: I used the bareMinerals Soft and Smokey for the first time in awhile this week. I layered the peachy shade of In the Buff all over the lid, with Midnight Luminance on the lower lid and Mysterious Sky next to the lash line. I paired it with CP’s Foolish.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: bareMinerals Soft and Smokey
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Stila in the Garden needs some more love!
When and where will your palettes with Sydney Grace be available to buy? I’ve checked their website several times and they’re not up yet. Thanks!
June 18th, 9AM PDT!
Look you loved this week?: I used my Clionadh singles to create a look that resembles the multi-colored swirl found in the Truly Beauty Unicorn Fruit products for my video review of them. I used Ripple, Enamel, and Engrave. For bronzer I used Benefit Hoola, Colourpop Super Shock Cheek in “Simply Sweet” for the blush, and Physician’s Formula Butter Highlight in “Whimsical” from the Weylie Hoang palette. For lips I used the MAC Lipstick in “Mull It Over”
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The MAC Lipstick in “Mull It Over” is probably my favorite nude lipstick next to the Hourglass Lip Stylo in “Futurist”
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I want to actually pull out and use the Wet ‘n Wild Glitter Palette a friend of mine gave me forever ago
Your skin tone/coloring: Above, dark brown hair green-grey eyes
Look you loved this week?: I continued my journey through my old Dior quads, I can’t say I loved any of the looks, but I did like the ones I did using Earth Reflection, 609 using all but the middle shades, a safe 🙂 neutral easy look. I also liked the simple green look I made using Garden Pastels, 441. I only used the 2 cooler greens, saving the warmer for another day. I think the look I liked the best was from4 of the five shades in Night Golds, 524. I used all but the sparkliest gold and the look was sort of earthy glam, I thought.
I used KVD Shade and Light palette for transition and the rest, I’ve not used it a lot and it was a long time ago. The shades are powdery in the pans, but the cool ones work quite well for me, as does the neutrals, the warms not so much.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: The above mentioned Dior quads are old, maybe even very old and perhaps could be thought too old, but they look and feel like they did when new.
Other old favourites, MAC Syrup. New favourite MAC Maison Rouge
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I hope I can finish trying the Dior Quads. I think I have five left to try.
I may not use much makeup at all the next few days, depending on how my schnauzer gets on. He is in hospital with what seems to be concrements (concretion, calculus) in his gallbladder. Maybe you remember his brother (miniature schnauzer) having gallbladder problems some 40-45 days ago. I am beside myself worrying, so makeup isn’t what’s on my mind right now.
Reading the posts here helps me breath though, so I thank Christine and everyone posting for the help.
