Melt Cosmetics x Beetlejuice Collection is a new, limited edition launch slated for November 25th at noon PT, though the PR box was available for sale last week (which is what I purchased). The collection includes two palettes, three lipsticks, three liquid lipsticks, two gel liners, and one pigment paint; there is also a brush set, mirror, mascara, and eyelash curler.

Not at all a collection for me (due to the theme and names), but it looks like they may perform well and the colors are right up my alley. Utterly Alone is how I’m feeling and the color it top, so if ever I see Melt available in France, that would be it for me (a sort of reminder of COVID. Weirder and Weirder is quite a twist for a mascara and thought I’ve had mascara with glitter before, this one seems better (smaller flakes), so it may work surprisingly well. As a brown-eyed beauty, I’m partial to purple, blue and mauve for the eyes.

I feel like this could have easily been one palette instead of two, and eliminate the similar shades running in both (Get rid of at least one of the purples, one of the burgundies, one of the greys). I’ve really got my eye on the three eyeliners and possibly a liquid lippie, but I don’t think I need anything else from this collection.

That said, not sure I’m loving the look of the texture of those lippies on the lips….

I really like the colours and packaging but, as many are saying, some colours are basically the same . They should have made two palettes with six eyeshadows each or even one palette of ten. I actually prefer smaller palettes, and with 6 pans it would have been much better!Gel liners and some lipstick are really unusual, I don’t now if they work but I approve the audacity!

Love the palettes and if they review well, I may get at least the green/purple one if it is available on beautybay. The eyeliners look also great but I have strong preference for eyeliner pencils. The lippies unfortunately look patchy though…

Re: liners, yup. Melt makes such good gels, but I’d prefer pencils. Gels are much more of a challenge to skill level. Think I’ll practice w/ CPs, but I have never controlled gels well. I agree that the palettes could have been combined, due to close shades. And that this is a tad daring, but that’s what Melt is noted for. IDK if they still offer these, but I have two Melt pencil storage cases, and they’re pretty terrible. Look like ‘decent pleather,’ but the zippers are beyond wonky.

Thank you, these swatches helped me decide to pass on both palettes. Like Wednesday said, too many dupes within the palettes. I’ll try for the brush set and one of the lipsticks and be satisfied with that.

I might just have to get that first palette just for that gorgeous green Paranormal. I don’t think I have anything like it. All my metallic greens tend to be more of a teal or at least contain much more blue. If it performs as well as it swatches I just might. In general, the metallics in this collection look pretty great.

Wow this is everything I hoped it would be and more! I am so glad I bought the early PR box… It has been so long since I’ve been this excited about color makeup since so many brands releases have seemed uninspired lately.

The palette swatches look really promising. I want both palettes and know im atleast ordering one of them but im having a hard time deciding which one I like most. I absolutely love Beetlejuice and this collection really screams Beetlejuice in my opinion. Thank you so much for the swatches

I didn’t think I was interested in any of the lip products but after looking closer I really want the Strange and Unusual shade of the liquid lipstick. Melt makes my favorite bullet lipstick formula and I really love their liquid lipstick formula as well. Strange and Unusual is exactly the type of shade I love so I think I’ll be getting that along with whichever palette I get
