Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: Using my new PMG mini palette of Sublime – I used the gold shade on the mobile lid, with the dark chocolate shade on the lower lash line. I had the lovely green Sinful shade in the crease, with the rhaspberry shade as a pop of colour in the centre of the lower lid. I paired it with Laura Geller’s Battery Park Bronze lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: I have also been using quite a lot of Naked 1 and 2 during the past fortnight – especially the shades of Sin, Toasted, YDK and some of the deeper shades for contrast.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I can’t really tell, it just depends on the day.
Your skin tone/coloring: light, MAC NC 20
Look you loved this week?: I’ve been doing one shadow looks this week. I’ve loved putting just MAC Tan pigment on the eyelid
Any new or old favorites discovered?: MAC Tan pigment. A new discovery I’ve enjoyed is the No. 7 Lift & Illuminate face powder
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m pulling out my Chanel quads. I have Elementals, Noir Supreme and their holiday from last year!
Your skin tone/colouring: Light with red
Look you loved this week?: I used Pat McGrath Blue Blood on my lid, with Sydney Grace Gold Earth on outer lid blended in crease and a little gold in inner corner and theBalm Cabana Boy blush. Looked very festive!!
Any new or old favorites discovered?: theBalm Cabana Boy blush!!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m going to have to put together a whole look for my birthday! Hoping to wear the sparkliest green look I can put together plus my new JD Glow highlighter I still haven’t used!
Not sure why my spacing keeps not working 🙁
Because it’s the weekend, it’s not a critical issue (e.g. the site is actually breaking), and as far as I can tell, it’s being published as you want it, so it might be something in the preview… but I can’t recreate it on my end so my developer has to look into it on Monday.
Oh I figured it was something I was doing wrong! But yeah, you’re right, it is posting OK now that I look at it again! When I first look after I comment though, it looks wrong! Weird!
My dev works Monday-Friday, and then is just “on call” on weekends/after-hours, so I try not to take advantage of it for little stuff and save it for the big stuff that is more like “mayday, mayday, fix it not or we shall all perish!”
Of course, no idea why it randomly broke at all, but it’ll be looked into on Monday!
Your skin tone/coloring: above with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I used the PMGL MTHRSHP Mega Celestial Divinity palette all week this week and loved all of my looks, but this especially: https://www.instagram.com/p/CGScQ-HBDmB/?igshid=9l4zp61ga4r3
Any new or old favorites discovered?: PMGL Celestial Divinity is becoming one of my favorite complimentary palettes. I know a lot of people would like more mattes, but I really like the ones they gave and I can always go to a different palette to change that up.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: My husband got me the Urban Decay Ultraviolet palette for our challenge yesterday, so I’m eager to try that out and see if I like it… it got a lot of mixed reviews, so we’ll see what happens!
Look you loved this week?: I used the ABH Jackie Aina palette shades Pinker and Wiggalese for a reddish purple look. Didn’t do anything with my brows other than quickly swipe through them with my ABH Brow Wiz. For face, I used The Beauty Crop’s bronzer in “Sardinia Sand”, Tarte blush in “Shimma & Shake”, and the highlighter from the Tarte 101 Blush Palette. For lips I used the MAC Matte Lip Mousse in “My Better Half”
Any new or old favorites discovered?: My MAC Matte Lip Mousse has always made me curious about MAC’s other lip products (I’ve never tried any of MAC’s bullet lipsticks or any of their other liquid lipsticks). While it’s not the longest lasting lip formula I own it’s very comfortable with a pigmentation that’s both easy to sheer out and easy to build. I only bought it originally because it was part of a limited edition collaboration with Korean makeup artist Pony Park, but now I quite enjoy it simply as a product itself
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I feel like pulling out the Colourpop It’s My Pleasure palette. It came to mind when I said in a recent video that my makeup comfort zone is “purples, purples, and more purples!”
