It’s hard to tell without swatches! Anyway, my lips will be hidden behind a mask for the foreseeable future, so I can wait. Weird, I’m more excited about the custom mask a friend of a friend is making for me than I am about lipstick. What is happening?!
Nailed it! Exactly exactly what I was thinking. I have a pattern lined up to make masks and I said to my cousin yesterday, mask are going to be the new hot fashion/beauty item.
I wish I knew how to sew! I have a bunch of really cute leftover fabrics that I used to make scarves for my dog (I just cut them in a triangle, no sewing). My friend’s friend (who works in a hospital) makes pretty fabric masks with pockets so you can slide a regular paper mask inside. Then you can wash the fabric and reuse the paper mask.
I am ALL over those metallic mini’s. And just in time for the sale!
Oh boy… I was never tempted by Tom Ford until I was bored at Sephora one day. Since then I have gotten several lipsticks and they are all perfection. What is it about expensive lipstick? These have a depth and complexity of color that I haven’t found on less expensive brands. I own Wild Ginger and True Coral in their original forms already and love them so much!
I think that’s true of expensive lipsticks that have rated well here – they do have shades that are so different to mainstream lipstick and have beautiful finishes.
Steel Magnolia… while I do like the shade description, it’s the name that has my ♥️. Depending on how well it reviews and swatches, it could be a nice splurge at a future date!

Oh, to be bored at Sephora again or go to our favorite restaurant again. I will not complain. My family is healthy so far. We are in Ohio and our governor has been proactive.

I’ve had near to zero interest in acquiring any new makeup. And thinking of the upcoming Sephora sale, I could not thing of a single item that beckoned. But minii-metallics from TF? Definitely interested. Wish I could see swatches.
I wish there were light colors!!!! I really miss all my light colors that were all discontinued. I think I must be out of style, every single light nude lip has been discontinued. I’m dying without my Bare Essentials whipped liquid lip color in White Russian. After purchasing over 20 tubes I’m on my last one. So sad. Then Bobbi Brown Mod gone. Tom Ford Nude Vanilla gone. Blush Nude,etc. I have very dark lips and like to lighten them up so I need super full coverage lip to achieve a natural pale pinky peachy nude. I would love your advice please!
