Revlon Super Lustrous Melting Glass Shine Lipstick ($9.99 for 0.15 oz.) is a new, ultra-glossy range of lipstick that is available in 25 shades. Per the brand, the formula is supposed to have “major payoff” that “doesnt feather or bleed” with a “glassy” finish (note: one shade is clear on purpose, which is Sparkling Quartz!).

I bought four (because BOGO1/2, LOL!), and loved them so much, I ended up ordering 10 more from Amazon. Now, I see a couple more I want to add…

I’m so happy about this I could cry lol! Hopefully they’re as good as if not better than the discontinued lip butter range. If they are I will probably grab a cool 10-15 or so 😉

I’m loving quite a few of these shades. I have a lung condition so I don’t know when I’ll be able to go to an actual store to look at anything in person. My husband is my gopher right now and I just can’t visualise him in the makeup department, although he has very good taste lol.

I absolutely adore these, and have so far bought/ordered a total of 14, and see a couple more I want to add. My current “go-to” lip products are the L’Oreal Colour Riche Shine lipsticks, but I actually like these even more. Not only are they absolutely perfect on their own, but I’ve tried them over some matte bullet lipsticks, and they’re great for transforming them into completely new shades.

Oh, my—glassy pink, love is on, and shine stealer look nice enough to tempt me even while on a low-buy. Looking forward to the reviews!

I love these — I usually like more glossy lipsticks, and these are fab. They seem to have some staying power too, but I’ve only tried Glaring Coral (which is not glaring, really – it’s a nice color in between peach and pumpkin that would work for pretty much anyone with a warm skin tone). I’d like to buy more but I HATE the packaging. The stickers have to be peeled off to use the lipstick, but they leave a ton of nasty residue, and I had to use both Goo Gone and rubbing alcohol to remove traces so I could even stand to touch the lipstick tube. This came very, very close to going in the trash. Seriously, Revlon, you couldn’t do the same plastic covering that Super Lustrous lipsticks have, and save us the sticky mess??

Agree about the packaging! It’s messed up! I’ve only opened one – that’s all I had the energy for. There’s awful residual stickiness all over the tube. It’s close to a dealbreaker for me. But I really like the formula & price…so out comes the goo-gone ?

I promised myself I would wait for the Temptalia review before buying these and then I…totally didn’t. They’re so shiny! How could I, a magpie, resist? I have Glossed Up Rose, Nude Illuminator, and Rum Raisin, and they are the lipsticks against which all other lipsticks are judged. The staying power is nonexistent, alas, but the color, feel, and overall effect is worth the annoyance of reapplication. This formula is magic: the shine gives the illusion that my lips have doubled in size.

I’m eyeing Black Cherry, but the swatches make it look patchy. So looking forward to seeing your thoughts, Christine! And thank you for consistently giving drugstore products love — unfortunately, not all of us are on a Guerlain budget.

i picked up one of these today – the store i was at only had a small selection of shades, and I picked up Love is On. I really like it. It seems like it doesn’t last long but then when I look in the mirror, I’ve still got colour and stain (in a good way) on my lips. It’s just the really moist, glossy feel that seems to dissipate. I hope that we’re able to get more shades soon because I’d really like to get Shine Stealer, Glassy Ruby, Glazed Mauve and maybe one or two others.

Christine, just want to say thank you for swatching Revlon lip products! They are my favourite from the drugstore, and it’s quite hard to find decent swatches online for them.

Would you consider going through the Clinique Dramatically Different lipstick line eventually? The formula for them are quite comfortable, though lasting power is average.
