Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name. (blue-green eyes)
Look you loved this week?: The very first look I did using PMG Dark Galaxy! Unfortunately, it melted from my dang allergy tears within a few hours.
Eyes: Viseart Amethyst #1 as my transition, then all PMG Dark Galaxy, Venomous Void crease, Cosmik inner corners overlapping some KVD Thunderstruck, Odyssey all over mobile lid and mid lower lashline, Smoked Amethyst to deepen crease and outer lower lashline, Saturnalia on outer mobile lid and inner lower lashline, UD Dragonstone 24/7 Glide On Eye Pencil on lower other 2/3 and upper outer lashlines, black mascara and tightline.
Cheeks: Nyx Taupe blush, Melt Nevermore Blushlight, Nars King’s Road and Friction mixed together.
Lips: PMG Deep Orchid MatteTrance Lipstick with Nyx Plum SLP.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Nars Hot Tryst highlighters! Strange that I overlooked them since I have been using the blushes in there fairly consistently??
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Once I receive them, PMG Decadence Mothership Palette and MAC Lunar New Year highlighter and Ruby Woo lipstick! The Flesh 3 Balm is more of an everyday something to pop on when I’m having a more minimal look going on, so that my lips have some nourishing moisture.
Have you ever tried allergy eye drops just before you start your e/s, Nancy? Also, sometimes it is product around your eyes which causes the intense watering. I cannot wear certain concealers on my lower lash/outer corner. I tolerate the GA concealer well and MAC paint pot which is great for the discolouration on outer corner. Just a thought…
I usually don’t have too terrible of a time *if* I remember to use my Flonase nasal allergy spray at least an hour before starting my makeup. If I forget to do so for too long, I will definitely have eyeball tsunami going on! Allergy eye drops work too, but I tend to forget about them. And they are right there on my vanity, of all places. My biggest problem is that I usually rush myself and forget to do things on time or at all. Artificial tears help me out, as well. But again, before starting even foundation.
Skin tone/coloring: Light, neutral skin tone, green eyes, s&p hair
Look you loved this week: EYES: Primed with MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre, set with Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Foxy. Marc Jacobs Steeletto Palette (Concrete in crease, Jungle to darken outer crease, Sidewalks on lid, Sparkling on outer lid, Rule on brow bone), Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eyeliner (Sabbath on upper tightline, Mushroom under lower lash line), Marc Jacobs Highliner in In The Buff on inner corners, ColourPop Precision Brow Color in Cool Cocoa, Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara.
FACE: Estée Lauder Double Wear Makeup, Lancôme Effacernes Concealer, Laura Mercier Translucent Powder, MAC Dipped in Stars Blush, MAC Show Gold Highlighter.
LIPS: Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick in Framboise Couture.
Any new or old favorites discovered? Givenchy Le Rouge Lipstick in Framboise Couture. I’ve had it for awhile, but never reach for it. Interesting how much darker it looks on me than in the Temptalia swatches! I’ll definitely wear it more often.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week? ColourPop Night Owl Palette, which I bought at Ulta when it came out, then forgot about it when I got Going Coconuts (which I love).
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Look you loved this week?: ABH Vermeer on mobile lid, Smashbox Hundo over top the Vermeer on the outer 1/3 of my mobile lid and Natasha Denona Dark Sepia in the crease (the outer 2/3 of my crease area), Sephora Cappuccino to line and Marc Jacobs skinny liner in black on my upper and lower waterlines (I usually don’t line my lower waterline but thought I’d give it a whirl); PUR Minerals powder foundation (haven’t used it in yonks) on my face; MAC Sweet Sentiment Blush, Craving on my lips and Wet n Wild Reserve Your Cabana to set my under-eye concealer
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Reserve Your Cabana – I had to go digging for it. New favourites – it’s really a toss up between Chanel’s Lumiere et Opulence quad and Natasha Denona Mini Glam palette
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: Oh yes – the Mini Glam palette. Even though it’s not what so many of us had been led to think it was, it is mighty nice and practical too.
Your skin tone/coloring: Above, with freckles, green/gray/blue eyes, warm brown hair.
Look you loved this week?: I got the Goddess Palette from Alter Ego this week (its a dupe palette for the ND Gold palette) and did a look with the pretty, shimmery blue, and the dark teal and brown to deepen it up. I used a peachy blush and lipgloss to finish things off.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: That Goddess palette, so far, I LOVE! It was a fraction of the price and made so well!
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: More of the Goddess palette, for sure and some of my Bite Beauty Lipsticks. Also the Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Light palette.
Your skin tone/coloring: Under my name; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Look you loved this week?: EYES — TFSI. PML Dark Galaxy Palette: Venomous Void (crease and lower lid), Smoked Amethyst (outer 1/3 of lid, outer 1/3 of lower lash line, and deep crease), Bronze Nebula (center of lid), and Saturnalia (inner 1/3 of lid). BabyBarBeauty Pressed Highlighter in Unicorns & Rainbows (brow bone and inner corner). UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion (upper and lower waterlines). UD Perversion Mascara. BROWS — ABH e/s in Love Letter. LIPS — Too Faced Throw Back Lipstick in Pixie Stick. CHEEKS — Sydney Grace Pressed Blush in Paris Skies and BeautyBarBaby Unicorns & Rainbows. FACE — ColourPop All Star Mattefying Face Primer; Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation in F0.2; RCMA No Color Powder; Too Faced Candlelight; Sephora Collection Color Contour in Tranquil; DIY setting spray.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: ColourPop All Star Mattefying Face Primer. It’s working perfectly for how my skin has finally settled: Oily with normal-to-somewhat-oily cheeks. The bad dryness issues are gone, now that menopause is done, blood sugar is under control, and skin care is sorted out. The All Star primer makes all my foundations look amazing. Shout out to my friend Mitzy for recommending it to me.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: I’m loving the PML Dark Galaxy Palette. Next I want to try the Galactic Gold Palette. I also want to use the Hourglass Ghost quad that I got for Christmas, if I can pry myself away from Paris Skies.
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain with pink undertones
Look you loved this week?: Using the Flower Beauty Golden Natural eye palette – the soft white gold on the lid, with taupe/gold shade on the lower lid and a mid gold shade in the crease, with my EA Perfect Bronze lipstick.
Any new or old favorites discovered?: Not really as I am rotating all my eye palettes.
Any product you’re hoping to use next week?: It depends on the weather, but I am hoping to use the Stila in the Garden palette that I haven’t used in awhile.
