Tom Ford Holiday 2019 Swatches: Soleil Neige Collection
Here are swatches of the Tom Ford Soleil Neige Collection, which is the brand’s holiday release. It features three eyeshadow quads, three cream highlighter/blush duos, two liquid highlighters, two cream/powder eyeshadow duos, and four lip balms (these aren’t included below). It’s listed as coming soon on Sephora, and I imagine the launch will be sooner rather than later but don’t have a specific date.
Its pretty MEH in my opinion……
No surprise that I love the colour of the Fleur de Neige cream component but at $86 here, I’ll look for dupes; the quads are $115 each and, again, for my wallet, that’s just too steep, particularly in light of how poor the quality of some of Tom Ford’s products have been lately, though I’ll be keen to read your reviews if you do review these.
I like Fleur de Neige cream shadow as well. The 86 bucks has me skipping it. I rarely wear cream shadows anymore. Hoods just transfer it despite prep.
I love Soleil eat Lune #4 but that price! I am going to have to find some dupes.
As beautiful as Soleil Neige quad is, I’d still rather spend slightly more and buy PMG Subversive Mothership III. But this quad will definitely be difficult to resist, even so!
Ummm … not really in the spirit of ‘holiday’, is it? I mean, the peachy palette in particular is more akin to spring/summer. Ditto the one with the greenish shade.
Tom’s Soleil in winter is the South of France, or somewhere tropical. My winter Soleil is skiing in Quebec, or in the Canadian Rockies, if money were no object. I’d take a quad that included the off taupe to silvery shades. That’s my Hiver, Soleil or Pluie or Neige! His collections in winter seem to be the m/u equivalent of HE cruisewear.
I’m in to it. I won’t buy any of it, but I’m in to is. Especially two out of the three eyeshadow palettes.
Not seeing anything that interest me in Tom Ford’s holiday collection. Maybe the Rose liquid highlighter would work for me.
The quads in particular are really pretty, especially Soleil et Lune. I’ll need to think about dupes before buying anything; if I’m going to spend that much money it needs to be really unique in my collection.
Christine are you going to try the Soleil Neige perfume? I’d love to hear your thoughts on it if you do, especially since you are so knowledgeable about TF fragrances.
I’m trying to resist! I’m not super into florals, so I’m worried it’ll be floral heavy.
wow I would love to buy a tom ford quad…….but they contain synthetic beeswax……allergy city for me….. I have even reached out to the company to suggest they use another wax that there are several others available…….. at least not too many companys use beeswax or synthetic beeswax in eyeshadows or I would have had to throw out a small fortune…..lol …… saves my pocket book anyway….
The eye quads look beautiful, particularly the cool toned one Neige 1. However it is all going to be super duper expensive here when they arrrive, probably next year.
The eye creams look lovely too.
The eye shadow quads are pretty. I wish the lightest shade #1 in Soleil d’Hiver was more pigmented, it almost looks like a glittery top coat. (Will wait for the review)
The Reflection cream shadow duo is very nice. TF cream shadows are usually fantastic, but I’m impressed that the powder shadow looks great too – pigmented and rich. Fleur Neige Is also tempting…I’m interested to see if the cream shadow in this duo is new or similar to one released in the past. Would like to see it swatched on its own.
No interest in the stick blushes or highlighters.
I’ve already picked up one of the quads Soleil D’Hiver along with the Fleur Neige cream shadow. Waiting for the rest of the quads to drop along with the stick blush/highlighters and will probably pick up the Reflects Gilt highlighter drops. I love this collection….
Thank you for all the gorgeous swatches, Christine! I wanted to ask, is the cream shadow part of the Fleur Neiges duo similar at all to his cream shadow in Plantinum or the cream part of the Adonis duo? Fleur Neiges looks vastly different in some swatches, then in others I’ve seen around the web, they look very similar. Thanks for any opinions and feedback, you’re the best!
Hi Bekka,
I’ve listed all of the dupes for each shade that I thought were reasonable to include – I don’t recall off hand what is or isn’t listed – so you can click “view all dupes” and refine by Tom Ford to see if there are dupes within past Tom Ford launches. Similarly, you can use the “Compare Any Two Swatches” tool which is on this page (and on EVERY review post!) so you can compare any two swatches side-by-side. Hope that helps!
