Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lip Color Swatches (x11)
I purchased several shades in the Bobbi Brown Crushed Liquid Lipstick ($27.00) range when there was a % off sale at Nordstrom (whatever was in stock, so I’m a few shy), and you might wonder why I’ve swatched them given that I’m deep into holiday sets… and you would be right to wonder! I spied a set of four, full-sized shades for the holiday season, and I was like, “Oh! I have those! I should just swatch what I already have!” only to pull up the listing after I had swatched the 11 shades I had and realize that two are new (and exclusive) to the set. Well, bonus swatches for readers, I guess!
Wow, these are pretty and really shiny looking. I’ve never tried the crush lipsticks before, and this might be the time to do so!
I have several of these and they’re really nice. They last really well for that type of finish.
Hi Christine, you think these could be used for a more sheer application or they’re fully pigmented right off the bat?
This is one layer of product – they are designed as a pigmented product, so going sheer is really on how you apply and how you like it – it’s not going to have the same plushness, shine, etc. if you are using a dab vs. one layer.
I’ve been wanting to try these out ever since they got released. They are absolutely beautiful. This reminds me to pick one up! I can’t decide between In A Jam or Smoothie Move.
Ooh! Big Apple or Cherry Crush for me! Smoothie Move, Juicy Date and Main Squeeze are also gorgeous and lush looking. I really like these more than I expected to going in!
Lychee Baby is a great ‘softening’ color (these blend well with each other, unlike some liquid lipstick formulas), if, like me, you prefer neutral-toned shades. I use it with Hippy Shake (not here, a light blue pink that wasn’t as light as I thought).
I have two of these since they were launched (Main Squeeze and Give A Fig – not shown here).
I waited for a month for Give A Fig to be restocked. It is one of their best selling shades from this range. On me, it is a beautiful muted, dusty rose, perfect for everyday. Main Squeeze was one of my go-to lipsticks during the summer. They are like my beloved Dior Lip Tattoo lip stains, but with shine and no dryness. I don’t know how they came up with this formula, but I personally love it.
Wow – these look good for a liquid lipstick. Bright, bold shades too.
Thank you for swatching and posting! BB lip products don’t get near enough love they deserve.
Thanks for swatches! I like a lot of these, it’ll be hard to chose just one.
I have 4 shades in this line so far. Love them! This is the type of quality product that made me fall in love with the brand years ago!!!
