ColourPop She's a Rainbow Shadow Palette Swatches
ColourPop She’s a Rainbow 24-Pan Shadow Palette ($40.00 for 1.23 oz.) is a pre-made palette with 24 full-sized shades across Pressed Powder Shadows (x12), Pressed Powder Pigments (x9), and Pressed Glitters (x3). The majority of the shades included have been released in 9-pan palettes with a few that are also available individually. The new shades are: Worth It, Lookin’ Fresh, Hold Me Down, No Scrub, Brick Road, Hard Place, and Right Tempo.
NOTICE for the following shades: Centerfold, Kittenfish, Big Sugar, Sandbar, Sunkiss’d, No Scrub, Seeing Stars, Brick Road, Hard Place. All products categorized under “Pigment” carry a warning in the US that the product is “not intended for use in the immediate eye area.” Brands in the US typically market these products as “Pigments” (instead of “Eyeshadow”), and there is often a warning on the back of packaging or the label. The product includes color additives that are not approved for usage on the eyes per the FDA. Some color additives in “Pigments” have no usage restrictions in the EU, per CosIng, and can be used on the eyes. We recommend checking ingredients to confirm current safety assessment/restrictions: FDA/CosIng.
NOTICE for the following shades: Boombayah, Fyre, Palooza. All products categorized under “Glitter” typically carry a warning in the US that the product is “not intended for use in the immediate eye area.” Brands typically use cosmetic-grade glitter, which is listed as “Polyethylene Terephthalate” in the ingredient list. This ingredient has not been approved for usage on the eyes per the FDA. Some brands, like MAC, have warnings like: “Approved for adhesion on the eye area using Duo Adhesive. Not approved for use as eye liner.” Products like Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter Gels are marketed for eyes by the brand, but there remains confusion as there has not yet been any change at the FDA level that we are aware of. Please check the brand’s ingredient list(s) and product packaging for most current restrictions.
I like this! Hopefully can get Mary Jane separately.
Well…it really is quite the rainbow, so they weren’t playing! But with the non-eyesafe glitters in here, it won’t be coming home to me. The others with the warning due to the pigments used don’t phase me in the least, though.
I like to smear a bit of whatever’s not eye-safe on my outer cheekbone! Of course, I wear glasses so it hides it a bit. Would that suit you?
I wish they would stop adding the glitter shades. Is not eye safe and not biodegradable. It’s very lovely otherwise!
Amen to that, Cameron! ??????
You’re right, even though I really like two of the glitters Color-wise, but I’d rarely if ever wear them. I’m just not a glitter person.
Man I really hope they sell all these individually! There are a couple in this palette from the 9 pans I’d love to have the full singles of…I’m actually surprised not all of these shadows were also released individually on the palette’s launch day :-/
Me too! 🙁 I was bummed!!
Ugh, I love Lookin’ Fresh SO much!! ?
It’s not really my kind of palette, although it is quite a rainbow of shades. I do wish ColourPop would stop adding in shades that are not eye safe though.
When I saw the picture of the palette, I was excited… until I saw the shades with the warnings. It’s going to be a pass for me, specially since tthere’s enough shades I don’t care for in it.
I’m just sitting here thinking how pretty the first 6 shades would look as a 6 Pan, there’s even some quads that look very nice. As far as rainbow palettes go, I think this one has something special to offer. I’ll still pass though and probably make my own palette with ones that are individually available.
Every column (up and down) looks like a T color story, because IT IS! Nice layout/curation; perfect gift for the non-overstashed. I, too, hope there will be singles, because who can say there will not be a CP order in the next quarter? Nobody here, lol.
A great deal if one doesn’t have many of these shades. Fyre and Palooza look really similar. I wonder why they didn’t choose more differently looking glitters.
No Scrub, reminds me MACs True Chartreuse pigment, it is so beautiful with neutral browns!
Fyre, Palooza and Maryjane, that’s it for me! So no way on an entire palette of Easter eggs. 😉
