I would never do it for street or glamour makeup — not the least bit interested. I used to be a stage makeup artist, and I would be curious to apply makeup to someone for purposes of changing their appearance for a movie, or maybe even just to satisfy my curiosity. So … in my own fantasy world where I could play around with makeup on whomever I wanted, just to to see what kind of effect I could create, I think I’d want my subject (victim) to be Tilda Swinton; she’s already rather otherworldly in appearance — I’d be curious to see how far I could push that.

No one comes to mind. First off, I’d be terrible at it and considering I don’t have cable, I am extremely out of the loop as to who is a celebrity these days. I may want my makeup to look like a particular celeb’s or be interested in a famous makeup artist doing my makeup but I have little interest in applying makeup to someone else lol
Probably Gwendoline Christie or Tilda Swinton, because both seem happy with minimal/non-glam makeup (though Christie favors a bold lip, as do I!) … but mostly because I think it’d be fun to meet them!
My knee-jerk response was “Chrissy Tiegen” because I would love to make her cheeks look a little less insane. But actually someone like Rossy de Palma or Caitin Stickels would be fun because you don’t encounter those faces so frequently. I feel like anybody else I mentioned, I could find his or her analogue among my friends.

If I could go back in time, plus, have hands as steady as a surgeon, Yvonne DeCarlo, Grace Jones, Boy George and Cyndi Lauper. Yeah, I got trapped in the 80’s somewhat, with a flare for the avant garde and adventurous! These 4 above mentioned were the inspiration for taking my own makeup even further in that direction. So was David Bowie.

However , I would love to do Michele Obama’s just because I love her energy and It would be so inspiring to spend time with her.
My immediate response was Elizabeth Taylor because I would love to see those famous violet eyes. My daughter immediately said Michelle Obama. I read through responses and have to agree with Nancy, Cindy Lauper and Boy George would be really fun because they both love very bright makeup.
I wouldn’t be keen on doing anyone’s makeup.

I can’t think of any women, to be honest, probably because all my “girl crushes” look better than I could manage to make them look. So, apologies for sounding like a pathetic teenaged fan-girl (I’m waaay past my teenaged years) but I’d vote for a “celebrity” that I would really like to meet face to face and get to talk to while I did their makeup and so it would be my huge crush, Richard Armitage. I wouldn’t want to be doing his makeup for roles like Thorin Oakenshield or Francis Dolarhyde, but just powdering him off for a appearance as himself (I could just about manage that) and chatting to him while I did this.
I think Lady Gaga or Sophie Turner would both be tons of fun to make up, and chat with, too.
Probably my haircut twin/inspiration, Lauren Cohan-I’ve browsed her Instagram and she seems really sweet.
OOh, I kinda feel like you, but if the person would allow me and then correct me, Pat McGrath. And she doesn’t wear much makeup, so I think it would be difficult for me, since I really like applying colorful eyeshadow.
