Coloured Raine Safari Raine Collection Swatches
Coloured Raine Safari Raine Collection is a new, permanent launch that includes a 9-pan eyeshadow palette and three lipsticks. The collection launches at Coloured Raine at 9AM PST on March 8th. Here are swatches!
This is very pretty and definitely brings to mind safari colors. The middle row and Amazon Basin… love them!
Just put in my order for this. I had it in my mind as something I was interested in and then I saw a video review (Mel Thompson) and it looked STUNNING. I decided to take a gamble pre your review so hopefully it all works out for me! Can’t wait to try out my first CR palette.
I rather like that traditional seasonal color schemes are over. Do what you want, when you want. This is one that has me ruing my no new brands. The greens and oranges are DDG. I can imagine your gorgeous look already.
These swatches look amazing! These swatches are making me want this, but I have the Gemini Palette, so I really don’t need it, but I love Coloured Raine’s formula. Maybe I’ll catch it on a sale.
AGH these lipsticks look very dry on the lips despite being beautiful in the arm swatches!
OMG, OMG, OMG!!!!
I am so excited over this, it looks amazing!
***SWOONS***
I’ve been so intrigued by that palette. It is gorgeous, inside and out. I’m so happy to see the swatches. I’m really into May She Raine but that’s because it’s my favorite type color so I’ve got a million.
This is absolutely gorgeous. I won’t be buying it as I am on a long-term no-buy for eyeshadow, but it is definitely inspiring me to try to dupe it with the singles I already have.
This is a really pretty palette and the swatches look good. The middle row of greens is calling my name but just bought the Huda Obsession Emerald palette and then ColourPop has released a palette of all greens that pretty much looks just like the Huda one but at about 1/3 of the price. At least my prayer for green e/s is coming true. I have used the Huda palette the past 2 days and while I love the colours and I am getting really pretty eye looks, they seem to kick up a ton of powder in the pan. I knew this about Huda and I can make it work but depressing to have just bought something and then see virtually the same thing at such a reasonable price. Anyway, I may pick this up simply because I love CR formula.
I know – I just saw the Colourpop Just My Luck release and my first thought was “Deborah is going to love this!” and then my very next thought was “Oh, she just bought Huda Emerald…” and I know you’re limiting yourself very admirably on palettes, so ouch! 🙁
You are right, I am kicking myself for not hanging on a bit longer! If the ColourPop one reviews well or I see videos on YT that demonstrate it performing then I may pick it up because it is so cheap and likely better quality. If not, then I will just hold on for awhile and see about this palette after I have met my goals for no/low buy. This is permanent so will be around a while!
Good for you though – you’re sticking with it!
After saying I had hit saturation point last week and would slow down on my purchasing, especially on eyeshadow palettes, I have (cough) boughtsixnewonesinthelastsixdays (cough) PLUS another (ahem, ahem) hundredandsomethingdollarsonsydneygraceAGAIN (ahem) so I am a big lying liar who lies and I’m proud of you 😀
Let me live vicariously through you, what palettes did you buy?
It is amazing how you can drop over a hundred dollars in the matter of a couple of minutes on-line. I am trying not to buy anything until the Sephora spring sale which I think is in April. I have been rationing my skin care to try and get through until the sale when I will stock up on everything skin related.
Seriously though, my only super big lust has been the Tom Ford lipstick in Liev and the Sydney Grace shadows but I am holding strong. I actually think my no/low buy will go better during the summer and not be as difficult since I will be able to get out of the house. Right now I spend my time reading, shoveling snow, cooking, shoveling snow, mixed media art, shoveling snow, etc My daughter and I have fun filling carts that we don’t actually buy!!
Oh, are you good at shoveling snow, by any chance?! 😉 😛 It’s finally starting to cool off over here, which I am VERY glad about.
Palettes – I got three from BH Cosmetics, the Hanging in Hawaii and Love in London, plus the Opalescent (actually I ordered 2 of those, 1 is a gift for a friend), plus the new Makeup Revolution Shook palette from Beauty Bay and Apricotine and Soleil Petit Pros from Beautylish, with the Pink Diamond mini and Bloom Blush & Glows from Natasha Denona. The SG order was because I received a pay rise yesterday and then got bored at work for an hour this afternoon, so dangerous… 😉
I was due to receive the Beautylish order today, but didn’t, so I guess I’ll have to wait until Monday (sad trombone noise)…
But I made black peach crumble for dessert tonight to console myself 😀
Oh man, soooo pretty! I love that shadow palette!
Stunning palette – love the shades, apart from Clay. These are beautiful autumnal colours and the lipsticks look good too. Very interested in this one!
This is gorgeous and the quality is obviously there. Coloured Raine has been consistently high quality in my experience. I have Cheers to the Beauty, Berry Cute and several of their singles in my Z-palettes. I’m quite sure I can dupe all of them. I bought Berry Cute mainly for the purple glitter shade thinking I didn’t have any dupe for it. Sure enough, I was going through my collection and found one in an older Urban Decay palette.
Gorgeous collection, although for me May She Raine doesn’t really fit into the color scheme.
I am so excited for this palette! I love the Coloured Raine formula, the palette size is perfect, these are full size pans for $39 in a color story I have been wanting, so this is a definite YES for me!
I was debating whether or not I wanted to get this but the shades Tigress and Amazon Basin are really selling me ?
I have such trouble with fallout from this brand’s shadows! I am so disappointed.
CatG, I have just the opposite problem with CR e/s’s, they crease on me within only a few hours! So far, it doesn’t matter which primer I use, either. Still experimenting trying to find one that works for the metallic shades. And yet, I will still get this one because of how “melty” looking their metallic shades look. I do get fallout from some of their mattes, though, if I don’t tap off the excess from my brush.
I really love this combo of colors! And they look like really great quality too. Hopefully this gets a good review.
Oh my, I’m so happy you got this collection! I was for sure set on the palette but now I’m interested in May She Raine too!
I do not wear these colours well, so it is an easy pass. Very contemporary with the colour scheme. I see these shades all over clothing lines for this spring.
This is the green themed palette of my dreams! (and yes, I’m very aware of the one CP just released) I’m already in love with it, and it hasn’t even been reviewed yet, lol.
All 3 lipsticks look stunning and richly pigmented. If I didn’t already have so many deep shades, I would flat out order Huntress asap. It makes me think of semi-sweet chocolate! Queendom is a phenomenal looking chili red, so rich and lush!
This is what I wanted Natasha demons safari to be.
I might be getting my first coloured rain eyeshadows!
