What is your must-have beauty product for spring?

What is your must-have beauty product for spring? Could be new-for-spring or something you find essential in the spring!

A foundation with a natural finish–my skin can get so dry during the winter/spring that I love a little luminosity in my foundation.

Which foundation r u considering Christine? I”ve been in the market for a luminous finish foundation all winter. I just can’t get one with a heavy fragrance because I have very sensitive skin. I”ve looked at Lancome Teint Miracle and Renergie Lift, Armani Luminous Silk and Estee Lauder Resilience Lift Extreme. I also took a look at the Lauta Mercier counter, but other than their tinted moisturizer, I wasn’t too impressed. The Estee Lauder has great color selection, but needs a heavy moisturizer and primer to get a glowy finish. I have very fair skin with cool undertones, so color selection is tough for me. I loved Bobbi Brown foundations, but they are too yellow for me in winter. I discovered the MAC mineralize liquid foundation last summer right before it was discontinued. Now it looks like they are going to bring it back for Spring. That might be worth waiting for.

See my comment above Ellen. I love lingerie de peau but I think like me you will have problems with colours. I would recommend getting a sample of the sisley photo eclat foundation if possible.

Have you tried NARS Sheer Glow? It gives a really nice glow to the skin and medium coverage. I wouldn’t say it’s a buildable coverage foundation but it is lovely! I also love Chantecaille Just Skin tinted moisturizer which is great in the winter for me since it’s so moisturizing and very luminous.

I forgot Estee Lauder Invisible foundation. That might be a great one for Spring. Light finish with a slight glow and great color selection. Might want a little more coverage for special occasions, but for everyday it may be perfect. Thanks for reminding me.

have you tried sisley photo eclat foundation? It gives a lovely luminous finish but dries down also so not oily. its a bit like lingerie de peau by guerlain but a better shade range!

A pretty spring lipstick or two (or four, if you’re me). I love having something a little brighter for spring. This season Ballade is my go-to for every day looks.

Antihistamines. So my makeup stays on my face.

LOL it will be autumn here, but jn spring I find I embrace matte lip formulas again, because in winter I can’t really wear them.

My Chanel Eclosion quad! It wear it all year round, since it’s’my favorite quad, but especially in the spring. I like to pair it with the Chanel May or April nailpolishes. I really enjoyed the Chanel makeup spring collection from last year, actually, since I tend to wear the colours it favored.

Well, it’s late summer here in the Southern Hemisphere so spring is a distant memory for me, but I would say a shiny, slightly sheer mauve-y rose gloss always looks pretty!

Hmm that’s a good question. I would have to say I look forward to bringing out my soft pink lipsticks like Burberry “Feather Pink” lip mist. I just absolutely love that lipstick. Also, I invested in Chanel “Beryl” eye liner and it’s lovely to give you that doll eyed effect and bright eyes. I’ve been a fan of putting a beige pencil in the waterline but this year, I’m looking forward to using it this spring.

New LM caviar eye stick in Orchid. A new Chantecaille lip chic for spring ( although I prefer last year’s spring color
— sunrise— better)

The perfect spring combo for me is: Lavender eyeshadow/liner, bronzer, and bright pink blush. My favorites are UD Shadow Pencil in Morphine, Too Faced Milk Chocolate Bronzer, and Tarte’s Amused blush.

It’s the time of year to break out the pastel.. I love pinks like M.A.C please me. For spring I like to par that with some lavender and pink Urban Decay shades like Grifter and Midnight Cowboy. I’m all excited now that I can par it with Too Faced perfect flush blush from my last Ulta Haul.

I normally switch my perfume to more floral/fruity based one, like Very Hollywood or Marc By Marc Jacobs. This year I plan to wear Live in Love by Oscar De La Renta, Petit Fracas by Fracas and Very Estee by Estee Lauder. Next I like to wear lots of bright lip colors like Mac Rebel, Nars Red lizard or Nars Shanghai Express. I always buy a facial suncream and wear that as my main facial moisturizer, I usually facial moisturizer that has SPF within it during the fall and winter. I like the Le Roche Posay Mineral one for oil, spot prone skin. My skin tones changes frequently as I’m getting darker, so I tend to wear concealer on spots and powder.

This is a hard question for me because I LOVE to break out my bright make up during the warmer months (which is about 90% of my collection)! I can’t choose just one, so I’ll choose my go-to spring products:

– Oil controlling primer and foundation – to control my crazy oily t-zone
– Bright blushes – I usually reach for my favorite coral, orange, and pink blushes this time of year.
– Bright, bold glosses – Again, this is when I reach for corals, oranges, and pinks!
