Love the highlighters and the hot pink lip. Certain I have a dupe for the pink h/l (ugh, I succumbed to that gorgeous Guerlain duo), but I’m curious about the blue since weird h/l shades are my world.. Wondering if the blue will just be a dupe of Huda Arctic Glow I get h/l compliments all the time or questions… LOL, which could be a typical passive-aggressive way of stating dislike ?♀️ The lady who does my lashes was talking and demonstrating ‘proper shades’ of highlighter for a more natural look. I laughed because I assumed it was kindly, but pointedly directed at me decked out with my aforementioned Huda Artic Glow, to which I said “I’m not looking for natural..I’m looking for supernatural” . Geez..my hair is blue and purple..natural..not my thing.
Not looking for natural, looking for supernatural… that needs to be a tagline.
Yes!
“I’m not looking for natural..I’m looking for supernatural” — #goals
“I’m not looking for natural, I’m looking for supernatural.” #2019mood!!! I am right there with you!
The new baby pink one looks nice–hopefully it’s top-notch quality, can be used as a blush by those with fairer skin and is not similar to any other shimmer-blushes I own. I just got the duo highlight in Mimosa/Sangria and that one is a gorgeous blush on me.
Wow, all of these are stunning! I haven’t been over the moon about Fenty’s colour cosmetics, but these really pique my interest, particularly the coral shade (I’m a sucker for coral lips in the summer). I really wonder how similar it will be to Bite Persimmon, which I already own.
Thanks for sharing, Christine! Hope your day is going well.
I like so much this new trend with blush or highlighter applied on the temple as well, or with blush applied over the nose as well (in a continuous line from the cheekbones). I know it’s quite editorial, but I almost wished it was worn more day to day. 🙂
I wouldn’t go that route personally, but I loved seeing this trend on a hairdresser and a Sephora employee lately.
Me: Must. Not. Buy. More. Pink. Highlighters. Must. Not. Buy. More. Pink. Highlighters. Must. Not. Buy. More. Pink. Highlighters. … I agree with others though – love the application on the temples.
I really like that bright pink lipstick! I haven’t tried this formula, but prefer a more satiny/less matte liquid lip and don’t require transfer-proof – which is what I understand this formula to be?
I am not much of a liquid lipstick lover, preferring my lips to feel normal and moisturized. Having said that, I think the Stunna formula is one of the better ones for comfort. In the past when I have fallen in love with a particular shade in a liquid lip formula, I have added a balm over or under to make them comfortable to wear. Of course that kind of negates the purpose of the formula but that didn’t matter to me. I picked up the first Stunna which was a beautiful red and surprisingly found the formula very comfortable to wear. Just saying, you might be able to make it wearable if comfort is the reason for passing on it!!
The rich coral Unattached and the deep purple Undefeated are just my thing! Which, of course, means that I likely have at least one dupe per shade. Sadly, I only rarely use my bottle of Uncensored due to how difficult touch-ups can be.
The application on some of these highlighter pics looks way too close to bruising. I realize the effect is exaggerated, but the photo of the blond girl with the ton of pink highlighter makes me genuinely uncomfortable. She looks like she’s been hit. Please tell me we aren’t moving toward a battered woman aesthetic. These colors are starting to look a lot like shimmery versions of the bruise palettes MUAs use.
It really doesn’t, though– it’s too pink to be bruise-like. Maybe it’s the calibration of your monitor?
Unlocked can come to mama! I’m really loving the high pink blush, pinky eyes, and crushed berry lips on the blond girl. Absolutely stunning!
