MAC Lucky Red Collection launches January 3rd and includes five lipsticks and a blush duo. Worth noting, three of the five lipsticks are part of the permanent range (just in new packaging), and the blush shades in the duo are also part of the permanent range (fairly consistent in color). There is also a specially packaged 129SHSES brush available. Here are swatches…

Thank you Christine, this made my day! ‘Melba’ was possibly the first MAC blush I ever owned and I need a new one in a bad way; and I’m all about a nice blush duo. I think this may be my first purchase of 2019 (hopefully, I have the worst luck getting my hands on stuff from these smaller capsule collections)!

Oooh, I’ve been waiting for this launch! But IDK I have a lot of red lipsticks already, but from what I can tell, the packaging is so pretty and festive, with red being the color of Lunar NY. Christine, are there pics of the design on the front of the compact? And are there more designs on the caps for the lipsticks?

I have my red lipstick back-up, but if the brush goes on sale in 2-3 months, I’m buying it. 😆 The red packaging is the only thing interesting about this collection; would be nice to a red MAC lipstick in a red package. And that brush would be a nice pop of color in my brush jar.

Lucky in love really caught my eye and I don’t have either of the blush shades but have wanted Melba for a long time. Maybe this will be my first purchase of 2019.

Oh geez, I’m so old I started by writing the year with 19 instead of 20. I can see that being an issue for my brain while remembering to write the new year.

Those 2 new shades Lucky In Love and Lotus Light are STUN-NING! I already do have Lady Danger and Russian Red, but have always wanted to get Ruby Woo. Who knows? This may be the year! (secretly hoping that the lipstick packaging doesn’t look as redick as those promo pics had shown!)

I honestly think that my favorite one is actually Lotus Light.

Blush looks nice if they work well (they seem to have swatched well). I’m not into reds, or rather, I just don’t wear them enough to invest in more. I haven’t bought any MAC for a long time, so maybe the blush may be a first since it’s a compact and travel friendly.
