Bobbi Brown Pretty Pink Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Bobbi Brown Pretty Pink Blush
Bobbi Brown Pretty Pink Blush ($25.00 for 0.13 oz.) is described as a “warm baby pink.” It’s a light-medium strawberry pink with subtle blue undertnoes against my skin tone. It looked a little cool-toned in the pan, too. The finish was mostly matte. MAC Stay Pretty is lighter. NARS Angelika is a smidgen darker and bluer-toned. MAC Weekend Getaway is similar but cream. Tarte Dollface is lighter. It seemed darker than the original Pretty Pink that came in a palette previously.
The texture of Pretty Pink was on the dry side, but it is plenty pigmented; you can get true-to-pan color if desired, but not so much gets picked up on the brush that you can’t get a subtler look if that’s what you prefer. I recommend building up the layers, because the drier texture made this blush less blendable than ideal once applied to the skin. I liked that it seemed to melt against the skin, though, and the finish looked wonderfully natural on. Pretty Pink wore well for seven hours, and after eight, there was some slight fading around the edges.

Do you think that this blush would go with darker skin tones? Or would it not show?
I think it would, but if you are on the darker end, you might consider NARS Angelika (which would show up better).
I like how it looks on your skin a lot. At first I thought it might be a shade that only works for super pale skintones, but it’s actually much more wearable than I thought
I need this blush in my life
It’s pretty, but far too many dupes and I already have NARS Angelika in my stash. I was also confused by the description because this does not look like a warm pink to me.
I totally agree, I think I already own 2 similar colours and it looks very cool-toned to me.
I remember you mentioning that your wedding date is this month. I just want to wish you lots of luck and joy on your wedding and marriage!
Thank you, Espe!
pretty color 😀
I just purchased this blush a few weeks ago to add to my collection. I already owned Pale Pink, Nectar and Nude Pink. THis is such a pretty shade of pink…I have light/cool toned skin and I am really liking it!
Likey!
Looks gorgeous but I have trouble getting her blushes to show up on skinks, even the plum. I’m nw20 with yellow undertones. Anyone have any advice?…I use a powder foundation.
I’m soo glad that there is finally a review on this new shade of blush. I normally wear Bobbi Brown’s Pale Pink blusher but it can look a tad bright on me (I have a light olive complexion). I’m going to buy the Pretty Pink as it looks a little more subtle. Thanks for the review, Abi x
