Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect in Tweed Corail for Gorgeous Peachy Cheeks

Chanel Blush Duo Tweed Effect in Tweed Corail ($45.00) just has indulgence and luxe written all over it–from the tweed patterned blush to the texture of the product.  Tweed Corail is a soft peachy color with subtle gold shimmer.  While it looks a little too peach-orange, it is sheerer when applied.  You can build up the color moreso if you desire, but you needn’t fear overdose from the get-go.  One of my pet peeves are blushes that are so pigmented that you almost always get too much product on your cheeks.  I’d much rather have buildable color than have to fix it!  The texture of this is so smooth and silky, the powder goes on so easily and blends seamlessly with your skin.  I’m really loving the way these feel, so I might have to nab one or two of the other shades next time I’m at Nordstrom’s.

Anyone else try these? What do you think?

This is my favorite shade in the Le Tissages Blush 🙂 Next is Tweed Rose. They are more sheer than Joues Contraste (my HG blushes) and has more shimmer.. but they are buildable and very unique!

Well, I don’t typically wear a lot of makeup, but I guess $15-25 would be great for a nice blush. I used to wear Bare Minerals, but I found out that I’m allergic to bismuth oxychloride (I stopped using the stuff and all the blemishes on my cheeks went away… haha), so I’m in between things now. I’m currently using a blush I mixed up from a few shades offered by Everyday Minerals but it’s just not my favorite and I can’t seem to get it just right! Thanks so much for your help! =)

Here are a few suggestions!

MAC Foolish Me — it’s kind of an coral-orange, not super peachy NOR apricot (but it’s in the same family as the Chanel Tweed Corail).

MAC Peachykeen/Springsheen — they’re similar to each other, and both are kind of a coral-pinky kind of color. I think I prefer Springsheen, but I use them interchangeably.

NARS Luster (might be your peachy/apricot dream!) — not super, super pigmented if you are darker toned, but if you are NC30 or lighter, you’ll see good color.

NARS Orgasm — more of a pink color with a lil’ bit of peach in it.

I just wanted to let you know I went to Sephora and tried the Nars blushes on the back of my hand and was scared off by the shimmer, haha. I am really boring, when it comes to makeup… I think I’m also just a tad too dark right now, but I’ll lighten up as it gets colder.

I did however, get a chance to go to the MAC counter at Nordstrom, and while I didn’t have a chance to try the blushes (my boyfriend was getting impatient, lol) I bought my first MAC lipstick in Cremesheen Party Line and I love it! So I just wanted to thank you and Karen over at Makeup and Beauty Blog for introducing me to the brand. =)

I went to the MAC counter today, and looked at Peachykeen. It’s a *beautiful* color, but it was still too shimmery for me. I ended up with Sincere though, which I absolutely love! Thank you for your help! I’d have been so scared to go in the first place if I had no idea what to look for. =)

Oh cool! I just got the tweed corail last week! I LOVE it! I couldn’t decide between this color and the I think It was called tweed amber or rose, I can’t remeber. But I am pretty sure I am going to get two more or all of them. I have never liked a chanel blush until I came across these last week at nordstrom. As far as it going on too pigmented, I just barley dab my mac 109 brush in it and have had no problems with it being too strong, and I am really pale!

I love this. lol, I’d probably buy it just for the cute little tweed imprint. 🙂 How does this compare to NARS Orgasm? I have yet to see both blushes live.

Hi,

The blushes may be buildable, but at the same time the pigment builds, so does the shimmer. Dissapointed. Still, it’s majorly cute… 😛

Tootles!
