Too Faced Twinkle Twinkle Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow Swatches
Too Faced Twinkle Twinkle Liquid Glitter Eyeshadow ($22.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a new, liquid-based glitter eyeshadow that’s described as “multi-dimensiona, high-glitter” that “cover lids in full coverage Tutti Frutti glitz.” At a minimum, I do not think that “full coverage” is an apt descriptor of these; the base is definitely more translucent in most shades with a moderate to high amount of glitter. We’ll see about “full coverage” in practice.
How do these compare to the Stila? I want to pick some up, but I feel all of these offerings (from all brands) are overpriced.
That is some chunky glitter. They don’t appeal to me, but I’d have to see them on the eyes.
I agree Rachel!
I don’t think Stila has to worry about any competition with their Glitter & Glow shadows….
I think these look pretty pathetic.
Such chunky glitter would surely feel awkward on the eyelid? =O
OMG – these don’t look very eye safe at all.
I like the shade choices, but the whole look of how they swatch turns me right off them.
IKR??? The glitter looks like coarsely ground pepper or sand/dirt! I’m scared to wear these, might go blind if that falls into my eye!
Urgh.. Maybe these will look nice on the lid.. But, urgh.
Totally underwhelming! Too Faced can do better.
These pieces of glitter appear uncomfortably large for my sensitive eyes. I hate to imagine how removal at night would feel! Sad, because a few of them are quite pretty.
Not for that price when not in just Stila, but now also Pixi have eye toppers with great quality. Guava Glitz was originally the shade I wanted but my goodness, is the base color turning me off and the glitter just seems clumpy. Surprised that Ice Queen appeals to me the most, even though it’s sparce, at least it appears more consistent? Who knows.
These look patchy to me. Unless I hear rave reviews, I think I will pass.
I have seen mould cultures that look more appealing than these.
Some of these look ok, like Citrus Mistress. But the other colours I was eyeing, the gold and blue, look so sparse and patchy, not promising at all.
I like the idea of a sheer glitter look in theory, but this glitter looks like an eye irritant at the same time…
If they released these at all, they should have been marketed as toppers. You can see the fail as a main lid shade in the swatches. Suppose those that try them could work at incorporating them into a look, but, there’s such a massive risk of chunky, possibly sharp fallout. They look like a visit to the eye doctor to me.
…what on earth? How did they think these were a good idea?
As a contact lens wearer, these are terrifying.
Curious as to how these look and perform on the eye with and without eye shadow. Ice Queen is pretty.
Oh noooo they look awful! 🙁
