MAC will be giving away free lipsticks in-stores and at counters on July 29th, but if you’re shopping online, you can choose a free lipstick from nine available shades on July 29th with any $25+ purchase. Dare You’s really nice, and Moxie is more appealing than I thought it would be, but I’m not going for any of these. My MAC paint pot purchase can wait.
I want to purchase one too for my eyeshadow base, so I figure why not a freebie too! Are they really good (the paint pots)?
I really like the MAC Paint Pots and use that as my eye shadow primer when I need something to really stick. I think some people have issues with them creasing but I haven’t had any creasing. I do set it pretty quickly though. I use Painterly because I am so fair and cool toned but Soft Ochre is also very popular as it has a more yellow base. Neither really matters as your eye shadow is on top so only matters if you are using a sheer shade.

I’m hoping to get Epic, Delish, or Moxie (too much like UD Catfight?) . I do love Dare You, too. Mixed Media *sounds * interesting, but being a Retro Matte and super dark, it could spell disaster, I think.
Catfight is one of my favorite lipstick ever! Moxie looks a bit lighter to me, but maybe close.
I got Mixed Media, and I was not impressed. Drying and patchy as hell!
Nothing is free. It would be ok, if the lipsticks don’t run out in 10 minutes after waiting hours prior. But base of last year, it is not promising that the “free” lipstick giveaway is over in a snap. Free lipstick after $25 purchase is not really free either. Not even you get to choose the color.
You are absolutely right! From a company, which under the pretext of changing the packaging (FYI Lightful C softening lotion) they reduce the quantity by 33.3%, while maintaining the same price, nothing will be free.
Estée is famous for decreasing the product amount and increasing the price. Without Christine’s price comparsion, no one would even realy realy think about that type of covert price increase.
Dare You would be my favourite.

Yeah! I’m super glad MAC was able to send me product samples + they did it overnight so I could get them up before 🙂 Also really pleased that they’ll be back for purchase later on this year, since they’re bring-backs anyway!
