ColourPop Fortune Eyeshadow Palette ($22.00 for 0.64 oz.) is a new palette released as the companion to Fame (Fame and Fortune, get it?) that features 16 warm-toned shades in the spirit of “rich berries and warm rustic [shades].” Here’s a sneak peek at swatches while I work on testing the shades:

We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when
a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set
expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up
being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! Thank you for understanding!
Not *bad*. Not ground-breaking, either. Looks like a a more shimmer packed version of the ABH MR palette to my eye, if I’m not mistaken. Dying to see the dupe list for Miser!

I feel ya! Miser was the one shade that caught my attention in the pan too!

I could be wrong (I’m looking at this on my phone and it’s wee) but Miser looks like CP Glass Bull to me.
Lea
That would be awesome because I already own Glass Bull and it’d save me from buying the palette! XD
Caught my eye, too. These all look a bit tweaked to me…as in just off from the expected same old, same old. Looking at this, given the concept F & F, I see why they called Fame a cool palette. Hardly need another palette, but this does appeal. But, like many these days, you do see MR in the backstory.
I like how you have created a very similar look between the colourpop and huda. If the colourpop didn’t have so many similar light shades, I would have gone that route. I like the metallics and variety of depth in the huda as well.

I recently sold my Desert Dusk palette, and I can’t help but wonder if this might be a cheaper dupe of it. If I’m being honest with myself though the only color that really grabs me is Miser. I’ve also been eyeing their Yes Please palette and for less money and (probably) better quality it is still higher up on my wish list than this will probably be.

Reminds me a little of ABH Soft Glam. In any case, not for me as I’m quite full up on the warm neutrals in this palette I’d otherwise buy it for.

I’m waiting for mine to ship – I saw it the day it was released and couldn’t resist. I also sing Queen’s We Are the Champions to myself every time I think about them, LOL.

This looks like they combined their She palette, Element of Surprise and the You had me at Hello palettes. I will be skipping this but great news for those who missed out on those palettes.
This is much better than the reformulated Huda Beauty Rose Gold palette – even though the shades are definitely not for me, I think this one is pretty good.
I saw that Colourpop is selling the Fame and Fortune palettes bundled as a set for $42 and will be snagging it once I see the dupe list for this palette (and your review!). I’m eager to see if it has some similarities to the MR as I think that is the only palette I own that is closest to this one. Also could it be a dupe for the Huda Rose Gold palette? Only one could hope because I really don’t wanna drop that kind of cash right now! lol
Replying to my comment because I have some more thoughts but I also saw a lot of complaints on social media that this palette was too similar to others on the market. When you look on Colourpop’s site they advertise this as “Trendy”, which I honestly don’t mind because yeah, it may be another rustic warm shade palette, but the price point is what makes in stand out in my book.
