Don't Flutter Yourself
Wet ‘n’ Wild Don’t Flutter Yourself ColorIcon Baked Blush ($4.99 for 0.19 oz.) is a soft, light pink with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had good pigmentation that applied evenly and smoothly to bare skin. The consistency was soft, dense but not stiff or dry to work with, and incredibly blendable. The finish was luminous and reflective without accentuating my skin’s natural texture. It wore well for eight hours before fading slightly on me.

Formula Overview
$4.99/0.19 oz. - $26.26 Per Ounce
The formula is described as having a "mesmerizing tropical glow" with "micro-fine pearl pigments" that "blend beautifully onto the skin." The formula has a denser feel to it overall, and whether it was soft and yielding or dry and firmer depended on the shade. It was a fairly pigmented formula that lasted for eight hours on me. Two shades were easy to work with and blend out, but one was more troublesome, so the quality wasn't consistent across the range.

Looks very pretty and so budget friendly, too! I can’t wait to see the reviews on the other shades.
Christine, I just wanted to add that I adore how you put this budget blush on a face full of Guerlain, Armani, and Chanel…and it looks fabulous!!! 🙂
Quick question: Do the Meteorites affect the look of this blush?
No, since the Meteorites are not on my cheeks at all – I am not wearing any foundation or powder with the blush (I keep the area bare with more blended edges but mostly I blend the blush toward the foundation edge along my bare cheek vs. foundation into the cheek color). This is true of all highlighter/blush/bronzer/contour/etc. items when showing them in the specific review (not true necessarily in just a makeup look).
Wow, that’s very impressive blending! Thanks for the quick response. 😀
Such a pretty candy pink, and I love the hummingbird! So glad it got a great review! 🙂
This is screaming “buy me1” I can’t resist the metallic sheen!
Very nice release, all of them. And it’s terrific when DS kills (or equals) HE.
Lovely shade, and I think the hummingbird design is really pretty. I’ll have to pick this up.
What a beautiful, yet fairly blinding glow this has going on! If I didn’t have MAC Pearl Blossom, I would get my rear in gear and walk up to Walgreen’s to buy this. Although on me, this would be a highlighter.
Wet n’ Wild has been killing it and impressing me lately, even their non limited edition items. I’m so glad I snatched up the collector’s box after reading the Muse’s review and missing the Goth-o-Graphic collection, which had combined hits and misses. It bodes well when you and Muse give something a good review, as I won’t purchase makeup anymore without checking either of your opinions beforehand!
Such a pretty blush. I hope I can find somewhere here (PharmaPlus or Walmart). The pretty hummingbird makes this even more desirable.
I picked up the whole collection after seeing it on Tarababyz channel. I think the packaging is really pretty and I am trying to branch out in my DS purchases. I admit to being a makeup snob and rarely find anything at the DS that I like so this was my first foray into an entire collection, (that doesn’t mean I haven’t purchased any DS and I do have a few DS HG products but overall I am not a big DS makeup purchaser). It hasn’t arrived yet but based on what I saw on Tara’s channel and your review of this blush I am really excited to get this.
What a beautiful blush that is so budget friendly. It’s a gorgeous shade for those who wear pinks.
Timing couldn’t have been better! I happened to be right outside a Walgreen’s while reading this so snapped up this and Dare to Soar! The display didn’t have the other color so I’ll have to see about that one later.
Question: For the lips, did you layer 100 degrees over heat wave? I saw both puppies on there and thought I’d ask.
Yes, that’s what I did.
I couldnt resist getting the Flught of Fancy and mostly love the blushes! I apply lightly with my slanted WetnWild brushe which is light or one of the Ecotools I have and it goes nicely! Was afraid of Dare to Soar the darkest one being too much on me but the shade works beautifully. The glosses are nice rather light shade in color (compared to the liquid lipsticks which pack more punch) as gloss I like them even the purple shade Shut the Fluck up. Eyeshadows are soft nice shades. Haven’t tried the liquid eyeliners yet. Lip scrub did it’s jib nicely first time I use one. But the blushes are the best beautiful!. Love the hummingbird pin!
I included ordering the Rose & Peach latest palettes those do pack color and I found them beautiful actually.
And is end of the month 14 days later and I just happened to noticed two typos/auto corrects gosh do I hate them! Even if I proofread there’s a witch on this keyboard that always manages to twist things up. Lol! Sorry about that.
I’m so glad this formula is good! Hopefully it sells well and they make it permanent. Baked products are my favorite!
