Queen Patrick is a medium-dark purple with cool undertones and a satin finish. It had semi-opaque, buildable pigmentation with a smooth, moderately slippery texture--it felt thinner and creamier than most of MAC's shimmery eyeshadows. I liked how it blended and applied, but it always looked a bit faded within a few minutes of application (though it didn't change significantly after that for hours). This shade stayed on well for seven and a half hours before fading (well, again).
