MAC Reflects Blue Glitter
Another permanent to PRO stores product is included in the upcoming Love & Water Collection: MAC Reflects Blue Glitter ($20.00 for 0.15 oz.). It’s described as a “sparkling blue.” It’s more like white glitter that shifts between blue and blue-violet. It’s iridescent and really needs to be seen in person to see the beauty of it, which is the case for most glitters! MAC’s glitters are not recommended for eye use, so buyer beware. Some suggested uses for glitter: nail polish, hair (add it to gel/mousse/pomade), or body (add it to a cream/lotion). I suspect that Make Up For Ever #7 Diamond Powder is fairly similar (which says it can be applied to eyes).

To me, it looks like clear with blue glitter. Interesting, but I prefer golden and brown glitter.
Oops, I’ve used this on my eyes before! It is really gorgeous!
To pay $20 for a non eye safe glitter stymies me. I could go into Sally’s and spend three dollars on something that serves the same purpose. Oy vey.
I always use their glitter on my eyes! lol…
is this the same concept as reflects transparent teal? i’ve always wanted to purchase these but they were pro only. i’ve seen people use them on the eyes before, but probably at their own risk unless the formula is different
Similar – the effect is slightly different, but they are close and the concept is the same!
they sell it at macys counters
i too always use this on the eye area lol
not eye safe??? what a bummer, i’ll be sticking to my TKB Blue Sparks that cost $1.50
I think you can use this on your eyes. Just for some weird reason the FDA has disapproved all glitter as not “eye safe” for the USA. But in Europe it’s perfectly fine. >_<
There are some glitters that are eye-safe in the U.S. 🙂
can you swatch this over a black base so we can really see the blue in it? I swatched the reflects teal and reflects gold over a black jumbo stick and the color popped!
Oh come on MAC, of course we all use these glitters on our eyes! Even your staff do! Stop worrying about covering your own backs so much.
Glitters can scratch the cornea of your eye – it’s not a little issue – that can cause permanent damage to your *eyes*!
