Well, yes to Viseart. Yes to niners and greater acccessibility for all who were prohibited by the hefty tag on the bigger palettes. And big yes to Beautylish. They represent ‘traditional’ customer service: listening, thinking, advising, and courtesy, not to mention lovely, safe box packaging. But agree with Celesta. Really, V? Who does not have this DTD? (Duped to death.) I need this like I need superfluous facial hair. Great for a higher end present for young folks without established stashes, like for Quinceano (sp?) or Bat Mitzvah or college acceptance/departure.

Love Beautylish! Service and packaging are top notch.

Don’t get me started on superfluous facial hair.. single random wiry mofo’s growing out my chin, the bottom of my cheekbone left side, my jawline right side. Thankfully I’ve yanked them so many times, they now grow in white.. but now I’m too farsighted to actually see them. I go by feel.

This colour story has been done to death.

“Nine rich, warm-toned hues…” I love the nine sized palette, and the more affordable price, and I know most(?) people love “rich, warm-toned hues”, so I certainly don’t begrudge them this pretty palette, but puhleeze people, how about some great cool/neutral palettes for the rest of us? Pretty please 🙂

Since I’ve already seen swatches of this, I do love how it runs much cooler than some of its promo pics, ie; the one shown above. Just not 100% sure about 2 true pink mattes on me, though! Still, I may hop on this one anyway, because there are 7 shades I have zero doubts over, and that pale cool pink could be a browbone shade on me, I think.

Nancy, I am surprised you are hesitant about the pinks. I know we have similar skin tones and I gravitate towards matte pinks because they look so pretty on me. My favorites in Huda’s Rose Gold palette are Shy and Flamingo (Shy is my favorite eyeshadow of 2017), and my favorite color in UD’s Basquait palette (the colorful one) is 1960.

This is such a pretty palette. I want want want!

I’m sorry, I didn’t know about the uveitis. I would love to get this palette, it’s so pretty, but will probably live vicariously through others. If you get it, you will have to tell me how wonderful it is!

That’s the thing with Viseart though-the colors always look basic and boring in the pan, but once you swatch it or apply it the color becomes almost….magical. Viseart shadows ave a depth and dimension to them that you can’t see just looking at them in the pan or even on photos-you have to swatch it to see it. I have been blown away by my Viseart shadows-they are honestly unlike any other shadows I have tried or own. Very unique and frankly, spectacular in my opinion. These shades have all been done before, but not like Viseart does them. If I would only choose one eyeshadow brand to use for the rest of my life, it would be Viseart.

Would you suggest Visiart for craepy mature eye lids? I have wanted Visiart for a few years but do not know where I could test them so it’s hard to know how they wear. I love a little shimmer but it can settle in the wrinkles
and who wants that. I like the thought of having a few pallets of amazing eye shadow and getting ride of the thousands of tins through pallets taking over my make up tower.

Gina Avatar

Absolutely! The thing I find with Viseart is that the shimmer shadows are not really shimmery per se, they are more glowy. They are shimmer shadows, obviously, but they give off more of a glow than the shimmer look that you get from other shadows like Urban Decay. Viseart shadows are very finely milled shimmer, not in your face. They’re just really beautiful and flattering.
Paris Nudes and Sultry Muse are my 2 favorites. Paris Nudes is just gorgeous, very muted and midtone colors that literally glow. Order from Sephora-then if you don’t like them it’s easy enough to return.

Connie Avatar

Hi Gina! I only own Paris Nudes and Petit Pro and I rarely find myself reaching for them… maybe I have so many palettes and little imagination, if you own that palettes can you share some of your combinations/combos? I need inspiration :’(

I probably don’t need this as I probably have dupes for a lot of the shades, but there is also a lot of shades that don’t look like anything else in my collection (benefits of having a relatively small collection compared to a lot of people.) I really want to pick this up as it looks like my perfect palette & the price is actually something I can afford (even if I wish it was $50 not $49 for free shipping purposes, guess I’ll have to pick up something else as well)

Betty Avatar

I wish they hadn’t taken so long to come out with this palette, I don’t feel a strong desire to add to this color range but do love their quality. It’s a low maybe.
