The layout of the shadow palette still bugs me, but more importantly, this palette feels like a retread of colors UD does pretty consistantly.

Looks like very good pigmentation, but also looks like Urban Decay reruns. Sigh. Would love to see a new palette from them that is: cool-toned, half mattes and half shimmers or satins, not too dark, no chartreuse, blues & purples & greens. Maybe a “Naked Cool”?

Carrie Avatar

Technically, Naked 2 WAS their cool palette, and even the Gwen Stefani palette leaned quite warm for a pald girl palette. I doubt UD gets what cool toned means…

Since I haven’t been a collector of UD in the past, there’s a lot I see here that I like. The highlighter palette is a bit “meh” to me, since it looks like a lot of highlighter shades, but the two shadow palettes and the lipsticks are very appealing.

I have kaleidoscope damn the colors are so pigmented. Little powdery but worth it. No fall out tho once on eye. The TRM SHADE like is so dark. Well you need a lot to wash it off. Ha. Leo and BRIXTON change colors. Seems more than 2 colors for sure. It’s a really nice palette. Don’t have the rest

Genevieve Avatar

I like the inclusion of cool tones in this palette, but the addition of coral/orange shade as an eyeshadow makes it a tricky shade to use with the other colours. The packaging seems fairly bulky to me too.
Naked Cool would be a great idea as long as UD didn’t mess it up by adding caramel shades.

Love the lipsticks.
The eyeshadiw Corona Looks very good, Too, excited to See the dupe List because I do Not want oder Buy the Palette just because of one eyeshadow although I really really like it.

The layout of this palette bugs me, and several of these colors feel like re-promotes. I’m a longtime UD lover and collector, and other than Heavy Metals, I feel like I’m seeing a lot of repetitive products.

Brenda Avatar

This feels like “wash, rinse, repeat” by Urban Decay. I’ve seen all of this and it’s just so
“been there done that”. Seriously, what’s with all the open space being left on palettes? Just looking at the kaleidoscope palette makes me grit my teeth at the thought of wasted storage real estate it would take up.

Catherine Avatar

I do love that Lime Time shade, but the layout and excessive bulkiness is making me want to rip my hair out. Even if I liked and ~needed~ all those shades the fact of depotting such different pans makes me not want to even bother. I do love those lipstick shades but I’m sure I have enough purple lipstick for this entire community so it’s an easy pass all around.
I just
I need to know
WHY that palette layout and packaging????????????? WHO thought this was okay and this would be fine???? I wouldn’t even buy it if it was heavily discounted.

Miska Avatar

Brixton and Leo look to be almost the same to me. And as for 13th Floor…if I never see another black eyeshadow it will be too soon! I have enough to last a lifetime already. I’ll never come close to hitting pan on a black shadow. If I die and go to Hell, black eyeshadows will be chasing me. I have a tough time coming up with looks on the Kalediscope Palette. The only appealing shade to me is Lime Time. If memory serves, KVD makes a single shadow that looks similar but, I can’t remember the name. Nothing really speaks to me from this collection. Lime Time but not buying a palette for a single shadow. I hope the people who got this are happy with it. It’s a pass for me.

What. The. Flipping. Eff. With that palette layout? I just…Why????? IT IS NOT AESTHETICALLY PLEASING! I cannot even fathom what the actual intent was that led them to that design. The quality looks nice, but my eye would never stop twitching if I bought it. Never. Never in a million years. With this and the Heavy Metals palette they are having some missteps with packaging lately for me.

I do not know who the person is they collabed with but this is such a cute palette. I like the layout even though the colors looked rehashed I’d get it just because I think it’s cute!!

On a side note: it’s been 9 days into the new year and I haven’t purchased any makeup or cosmetic items of any kind. I’m so happy about this LOL.

Dominique Avatar

That is awesome!Mo,I haven’t purchased anything either in 2018 and I’m pretty proud of myself also, lol!!I had a broken Huda Beauty Smoky Obsessions Palette that I exchanged for something else but I actually got 3 dollars back in Sephora.

Veronica Avatar

This is more the kind of palettes I remember from Urban Decay in its early years. Nice to see it’s good quality, too. Not colors I’d get lots of use out of, but I’d love to see Corona make it into a single sometime.
