Does your makeup routine change for spring?

Mine changes as much as new releases do, so I do expect that colors and tones will soften, lips will be less vampy, etc. in the traditional vein that a lot of spring launches take. I do think we will see some less typical spring releases, though.

Tbh, mine is the same all year round. I can barely wear lipstick because my lips are so sensitive, and when I do, it’s something light and sheer because I don’t want to worry about it looking silly after a while.

I switch from liquid foundation to mineral powder. Liquid lipsticks and glosses…matte primer for the shine..I don’t pay attention to the color of lipstick ..I dress and do my makeup by season and mood. I have been having lots of fun with reds and pinks. I keep up with the trends but, if they don’t suit me,i pass. I want to have fun with makeup

I don’t think so. I wear the same foundations throughout the year and they are ones that I know work well for my skin. My lips are pretty pigmented so softer, paler shades just look weird on me. I might not do as elaborate an eye look but that doesn’t last for long as I get bored and want to try new things.

Nothing changes. Then again, I live in a place where Spring and Winter are often nearly identical (overcast and rain all the time), so there’s not much reason to change things up. Even so, I rarely switch things up from season to season. If I do to any degree, it’s only in that I might trend towards certain colors of lipsticks, but that trend doesn’t prevent me from wearing whatever color I want when I have a whim.

Since I really try to stretch out the wintery shades as long as possible, I tend to only go into slowly working some coral and fuchsia lipsticks and blushes into my rotation. And, because spring here feels like summer, I do begin to tweak my foundation a bit. By late May, CC/BB creams just become more comfortable on with the dry heat!

My makeup routine doesn’t change for the seasons, what changes is the colours and shades I use for both eye and lip. I tend to use brighter and perhaps more colourful eye shades that complement my spring/summer wardrobe and use more peachy/ginger lipstick shades too.

I tend to match make up to clothing colours and that lasts all year. I suppose my colours for clothing are more to do with one’s that suit me with some consideration for season but Autumn colours suit me most…

I tend to wear everything (clothes, perfume, makeup) based on weather and mood much more than by what the official season is. I don’t do dramatic lips comfortably, but if it’s cold/rainy, I might do the occasional bright/dark lip – especially if it’s sheer. I like the way warm shimmer (eyes/lips/highlight) looks with a tan/lighter hair, so some part of me will be ‘glowified’ as my own coloring changes with the season.

Living in S. California where weather is almost same year round not much I still like to stick to my warm rustic eyeshadows a bit longer then in Summer when it gets really hot I do change for lighter shades peaches, apricot, corals and all that more natural toned makeup. I always wear on the natural side so probably you won’t notice much difference. Lol! I’m not much into pink eyes or on lips though. Sometimes.

I think so. My clothes change and I tend to base my makeup look somewhat on what I’m wearing, so that would affect it. I would say I tend to go even lighter on the makeup than I do in the winter (and even then I tend not to use too much). I think my love of cream products for things like highlight, blush and bronzer have become somewhat of a year-round thing, but I go with a less done-up lip and get to bring out my brighter corals and peachy-pinks as the sun shows back up. I also notice I change up the color of my eyeshadows whether I go for an all-out colorful look or just a pop of color. Wintertime tends to be my chance to bring out the emerald greens (my favorite color is green so that makes me happy) while I might go more for a blue or a brighter shade of color in the spring to go with my clothes or my lip product shade. I also tend to go for brighter or more peachy/coral shades of blush as opposed to my winter favorites of rose or plum. That’s not an across the board thing of course, but there is a trend I can definitely see.

Spring?!?!?! We’re in a deep freeze here in the North East, spring seems so far way… that being said I would have to say I use a lighter moisturizer and peachier tones for all of my makeup

I love wearing more dewy foundations in the spring since it’s usually still on the colder side where I live and my makeup won’t melt off lol. Also I tend to wear more glosses and liquid highliters. Usually, I wear the same lip colors all year round…nudes and mauves with an occasional red here and there.

I wouldn’t say I’m seasonal, as in colors for fall, winter, spring, and summer. But my look does change based on current collections, items I’m sent in beauty boxes and bags, things like that. I like to play and try new things, so it’s constantly changing.
