ColourPop Tulip to Quit Pressed Powder Blush Review, Photos, Swatches
Tulip to Quit
ColourPop Tulip to Quit Pressed Powder Blush ($8.00 for 0.21 oz.) is a medium, burnt orange with warm undertones and a matte finish. It had semi-opaque pigmentation, which did not build up to full coverage as the texture was too dry and prone to sheering out to manage any buildability. The consistency seemed to lack binders, so there was a ton of product that kicked up in the pan when I tried to use it, even with a soft touch. It blended out decently but looked somewhat uneven, despite trying to my best to diffuse the coverage. It lasted for seven hours on me.

Formula Overview
$12.00/0.28 oz. - $42.86 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to go on "smoothly" and have a "natural and healthy flush" that has "long wear" and "can be layered to your desired intensity." It is a lightly to moderately powdery powder blush with semi-sheer to semi-opaque, buildable color payoff. The consistency has a drier, thinner feel and though it feels silky to the touch, I found it the type of powder blush can be tricky to blend out evenly on the skin, depending on one's skin type or base preferences. The drier the skin/base, the better the formula would blend, but any natural oils or slip caused the blush to go on unevenly and was difficult to blend out. The wear was between seven and eight hours on me on average.

Oh ColourPop, you’re really letting us down here with these blushes. Like REALLY. As in, these are almost as awful as those KVD Shade & Light blush duos of a few years ago. ?
Funny. Call out to CP QC Central. Have worn this a handful of times, and wouldn’t peg it as less than a B+. I have none of the binder/kickup issues. But, batch issues are usually just that. A whole run went out with these formulation issues. However many were made in this run all stink. I, on the other hand/same brand had one suckworthy set in Now and Zen. Unbound, erratic, patchy, etc. Yours was fine. I think the issues go straight back to uneven mfg batches, and can’t be attributed to S/H, app tools, or user error.
