I struggle with these kind of palettes as realistically, I’m only going to be into 2 colours out of the six. It puts me off buying them. If they released them as duos, parchment/spice etc then I’d probably snap it up.

Thanks, Cyndi. If you buy just the refill pans, will those work in a z palette? I’m assuming so, but you never know b/c MAC’s “zpalette” will only work with MAC products. Annoying!

I’m with a Rachel. These would be useful for MUAs, as they need a universe of shades. For individuals, I think duos would be better suited. And kvd ‘cool’ shades to me are anything but. To my eye, all foundation, concealer, and sculpting products are far to yellow based. And I’m not that cool. Easy skip.

KVDs palette comes off to ashy looking on my medium chocolate skin. Easy skip. Loving my UD shapeshifter palette in Med-Dark. Let me not talk about how insanely gorgeous the highlighter is in this palette. I wish they would make this shade individually!!!

It seems to be an appropriate color palette for only the medium skin tone pictured. I can’t imagine the light skin tone using more than 3 shades, and the dark skin tone probably would not want to use any of it.

I have the powder version of this and only use the (shade) contour, however as I go from summer to winter I use all of them (shade).
I’d love some education on how to use all the “light” besides the insert. Then I might consider rebuying.
