My skintone/colouring: MAC NC23 usually, NC25 with my summer tan. Light medium with prominent warm yellow undertones. Warm, dark brown hair. Dark hazel eyes.
My favourite look this week: NARS Valhalla (peachy cream shade with pink sparkles) single eye shadow on the inner 3/4 of my mobile lids, and then another NARS single shadow that I forgot the name of as I’m not at home. But it’s a green/red duo chrome. And I would pat that on the remaining 1/4 of my mobile lid, on the outer corner. And then blended up into my crease a bit. And blended on my lower lash line. It was a very pretty look acording to the ladies on the temptalia discord chat! 😉
Most used product of the week: L’oreal Total Cover Foundation in the shade 305! My closest, and best shade match ever! I use the smallest amount of this and really spread it out all over my face starting on my cheeks and working out!
Any new product discoveries: BITE amuse Bouche liquid lipsticks. I own supreme (a berry) and I have Chutney (a mauvey nude) and Candied (reddish hot pink) coming to me on Monday!
My skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite look you worn: Eyes — UD Primer Potion in Enigma; Jouer Star Light on lids; UD e/s in Relish and Crave; Honeybee Gardens e/s in Nirvana; UD 24/7 Eye Pencil in Perversion; Tarte Lights, Camera. Lashes Mascara. Cheeks — Sleek Pomegranate. Lips — UD Revolution Lipgloss in Vanity.
Most used product of the week: Jouer Skinny Dip palette; UD Vice Lipstick in Seismic
Any new beauty discoveries: Walgreen’s carries Sleek now
Online or in stores? I believe Ulta carries Sleek online. Haven’t seen it in any stores but I hope I do:)
Online, and in some stores.
My skin tone/coloring: Fair with neutral undertones
Favorite look I wore: I did pretty basic looks this week, but I loved doing my go-to Naked Basics look.
Most used product of the week: It Cosmetics CC cream.
Any new discoveries: I saw a swatch of the new Becca Lilac Geode highlighter and ran out to get it last night. I looove it.
My skin tone/coloring: Fair with olive undertones, hazel eyes, auburn hair
Favorite look you worn: I didn’t wear a ton of makeup this week, but when I was playing around with the Subculture palette, I did a cool look. I put Untamed in my crease and outer corner, blended out with Destiny and then further with Mercury, and then I packed Electric on the inner part of my eye with my fingertip. I repeated on the lower lashline, with Untamed along the outside blended out and Electric on the inner part, and then lined the waterline with UD Torch. I’d never thought to put orange and greens together but it looked really cool!
Most used product of the week: Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturizer
Any new beauty discoveries: My ABH Subculture palette came in but since that’s the Topic of the Month in the beautysphere, I don’t think it really counts as a “discovery!”
Sounds great! And congrats on being prepared enough to use Subculture successfully.
My skin tone/coloring: deep neutral
Favorite look you worn:
-simple eye with with warm brown in the crease and a little black in the outer crease/ outer v. Smashbox eye shadows.
-NARS blissful blush
-NARS sheer lipstick in shrinagar.
– Lancôme teint idole -very sheer layer
-NARS radiant creamy concealer
Most used product of the week:
Fresh rose mask. It’s smells good and leaves my skin looking smooth and hydrated.
Any new beauty discoveries:
NARS soft matte concealer and bare minerals invisible light translucent duo. I am running out of concealer, so I got this one and I like it. I usually use radiant creamy. I’m still not sure about the bare minerals translucent duo, I have to use it for a few more days. I don’t think the shimmer side works for my skin tone, it’s very icy/silver. The matte side is ok.
Skintone / coloring : light, MAC NC 20, med brown hair and eyes
Favorite look worn : Colourpop Super Shock Eyeshadows in Weenie (outer half of eyelid), Wattles(crease) and Sailor (inner half of eyelid). Milani Bella Gel Eyeshadow in Bella Ivory on browbone. MAC Teddy Eyeliner and MAC In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara. Lancome Blush Subtil in Miel Glace
Most used : ABH Subculture Palette. Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Eyeliner in Blacquer for tightlining upper waterline. Milani Bella Gel Eyeshadow in Bella Ivory. Maybelline Fit Me Pressed Translucent Powder.
New beauty discoveries : I have been tightlining my upper waterline. I’ve used Marc Jacobs Blacquer but I’m not sure I love the formula.
My skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favorite look you worn: I used the bareMinerals Soft and Smoky palette, with the smoky blue, olive and taupe shade. I was really happy with it.
Most used product of the week: My new Art Deco lipstick in Indian Red.
Any new beauty discoveries: I think the Bourjois Healthy Mix foundation in light vanilla is going to work out well with my complexion.
My comment totally disappeared so hope it doesn’t get double posted.
Skin tone: Very pale with cool undertones, NW5-10
Favorite look this week: I did a one and done kind of look with Tom Ford’s Platinum eye shadow over the mobile lid and up into the crease. I used the YSL Cushion Foundation that I purchased in my last haul and have been working with it, trying different options to see what works best for me. It runs a smidge too dark so I have been trying to lighten it and finally tried adding a white foundation to my moisturizer before putting the foundation on and that is working well. Still playing though. Blush was a mixture of two of the Ciate Glow to Illuminate blushes, one a soft pink and the other a peachy shade to make something approaching a natural flush. For lipstick I also mixed two lippies. I used two of the NYX Pinup Pout lippies. One was Fiery which is straight up orange so I mixed another shade which I cannot remember the name of but was a browner shade, to tone down the orange. I really liked how it came out.
Most used product would be the YSL Cushion Foundation.
New discoveries: I picked up a couple of the Clinique Shadow Pop Lipsticks. They are a “powder” formula. I had tried the Sephora “powder” lipsticks and didn’t care for them but saw a YT video where the woman used the Clinique ones and she really liked them so I picked up two. So far, I am enjoying them and have been playing with different ways to use them. I have used them both over and under liquid lipsticks to enhance or change the color and that worked okay. They can be worn alone and leave a little stain behind so I like that. They don’t wear off funny. They are not hydrating but not uncomfortably dry either.
My colouring : light to medium skin tone with yellow undertones
Favourite look. Am panning my UD Gwen Stefani blush palette and have been using Hush as an eyeshadow this week teamed with Easy on my cheeks and Angel highlighter.
The above pallette and the MAC I’m that Chick you like pallette have been used a lot this week.
New discovery: L’Oréal clay mask. I had a sample pack and tried the glow mask. Have purchased the Brightening one and am yet to try it.
My skin tone/coloring: Light Neutral- Mac N/NW 15-20
Favorite look you wore: Eye look using the Kat Von D Shade and Light eye palette with the new S&L Glimmer palette- I never used the original much because I love shimmer, but putting the two together, wow I got an amazing look combining the neutral quads of both using the matte shades as a base and layering the coordinating shimmer shades on top, it was gorgeous!
Most used product of the week: ABH ModRen (use basically every day in some way or another-Tempera is my HG browbone highlight) and Kat Von D ELL Lolita, my HG lip for years now.
Any new beauty discoveries Totally the Kat Von D Shade & Light Glimmer palette- I am sometimes challenged putting looks together and pairing this palette with the original matte S&L eye is going to give me super quick and easy daily eye looks with the cool/warm/neutral quads that I can throw together without much thought and know is going to look great. Loving it!
