I wondered when NARS would finally get on the matte liquid lip trend, seems like every single other company has them. I like how they call them “pigments” too, as if to hide the fact that it’s the same product everyone else and their mum has already done.
Colours look pretty in the swatches though.

I haven’t been into the whole matte lip trend at all, but the things I’ve heard about these…. I’m kinda feeling them. Plus, idk what it is about the packaging, but it really appeals to me. I can’t wait to see the names matched with swatches and get your take on them, to see how many will be on my wishlist. I haven’t bought makeup without consulting your review of it in so long. Hahaha. (well, except Sugarpill)

Such pretty fall colors – but I don’t wear matte. Maybe I could use a topper. If these perform well, I believe they will sell well too!

Given how much I liked their Velvets, I’d be willing to give these a try! The eighth from the left (kind of a berry fuchsia?) seems pretty!

I love how companies are now putting out swatches as a part of product release imagery!
While I love a matte lipstick, I think I am covered for colors and formula between Kat Von D, NYX, Stila, Colorpop, and Sephora (cheaper too)…

I love that NARS is naming his shades after famous songs now instead of gratuitous names. Get up, Stand Up was a defining tune of my childhood. Love!

I’m definitely curious about these, though it really reinforces how limited the velvet lip glide shade range is. I’d love to see that range expanded as well.

Almost def in. Nars does my preferred colors well (and often.). Liq lip is not a prob with balming beforehand, except maybe abh. Always get excited by ‘out with the summer, in with the fall,’ especially for lips. Dreaming of a miniset for holiday 17 with his typical selection of darks with a nod to nude/pink or peach nude. Better not spring too fast. If these are comparable to the VLGs in quality, I’m all over these. Would hate to have scored 3 full size that were included in holiday. See how you make us use our executive functions (planning and organizing?). Time for delayed gratification.

Oh, forgot to say good job for swatching these on multiple skintones, despite looking highly photoshopped. And actually, the issue is low on darks for FN. The lighter shades look much lighter on the dark toned arm, and more saturated on the light toned arm model. Wonder if that is true, or if the swatches are tweaked to death? Better wait for the review to see if the reds are overduped. Excuse me for drooling on the iPad.
