Foxy

Huda Foxy Lip Strobe ($18.00 for 0.14 fl. oz.) is a dark, reddish-bronze with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. It had rich, opaque coverage (as described) that applied evenly and smoothly across the lips. The gloss was lightweight, lightly tacky but very smooth and spreadable, and comfortable to wear. It wore well for five hours and was lightly hydrating.

The Lip Strobe formula is supposed to be “sheer to full coverage” depending on the shade and can be worn “alone or layered.” Per the brand, the semi-sheer shades are: Posh, Enchanting, Ritzy, Snobby, Shameless (sheer base), Mystical, and the full-coverage shades are: Boujee, Saucey, Foxy, Fearless, Moody (Angelic’s coverage was not described). The formula has a lightweight feel, lightly creamy as it goes on initially but has a lightly tacky texture overall. The gloss spread well across the lips and had fairly even coverage with minimal settling. The wear ranged from four to five hours with a lightly moisturizing feel. There was a faint, sweet vanilla scent but tasted a bit soapy to me.

Saucey

Huda Saucey Lip Strobe ($18.00 for 0.14 fl. oz.) is a rich, medium-dark red with cooler pink and red pearl. It had nearly opaque color payoff, which applied evenly on the lips and did not appear streaky. The gloss spread well over the lips as the texture was thin, smooth, and lightly tacky so it stayed in place and did not slide around. This shade lasted well for five hours and was somewhat moisturizing.

Boujee

Huda Boujee Lip Strobe ($18.00 for 0.14 fl. oz.) is a medium coral-orange with warm undertones and fine pink and gold pearl. It had semi-opaque, so it wasn’t as pigmented as described, but the color applied evenly and smoothly on the lips. The texture was lightweight with a bit of tackiness but never felt goopy or truly sticky to me. On me, the gloss wore well for four and a half hours and was lightly hydrating.

I love these. For sure I’m getting Saucey and Fearless and if those are great maybe more. Christine how do these compare in formula to the Anastasia glosses? I just picked up Parfait and St. Tropez and am quite enjoying them. Also thinking about the Kevyn Aucoin ones but they are pricier, esp. here in Canada ($39 I think).

Ooh I like Saucey! Metallic lips don’t look good on me if they’re too light or dark but I think I could get away with this.

Nice to see that Saucey, the one I had my eye on from the swatches you posted, did well! I’ll have to check it out in person to see it will be a nice color on me, but I’m glad it did well.

I’ve been holding out on buying any of these because I was hoping Huda would sell the vault she sent out as PR on her website. That is how I purchased all her liquid lips. But she commented on an Instagram post not anytime soon so I’m thinking she probably won’t sell them like that until Black Friday or Cyber Monday like last year with the liquid mattes. These are so beautiful but I really would rather just get them all for a discounted price.
