I cannot figure out why my photos keep coming out sideways. They look normal when I upload them, I swear. And it’s not like I live my life at a 90 degree angle to everything else… honestly…

I had to laugh at your AMA, when so many cited excitedly, ‘because my skintone is just like yours.’ Not so much, here, plus maybe weird chemistry. Despite looking forward to a warm copper for Rogue, it turned out a slightly browned mauve on me. The more shocking were Resin and Dusty Mauve. Both are highly reminiscent of deeply rooted, though more gray and less purple. I remember that MAC DR was more brown on you, far more purple on me. But here’s the big reveal: those two are probably >95% dupes on me! I actually wore one on the top lip, one on the bottom, all day, including 4 hours of work and driving someone to and fro. NO ONE NOTICED that I had 2 different lip shades on. They’re probably 98% dupes on me. One big wtf moment. Thank god I rather like them. Even lighting doesn’t make a difference. They are virtually identical. Guess I don’t have to self-whine about kvd grays anymore, and I can tote one around. Still scratching my head.
It is interesting, but I’m less and less surprised, KJH – sometimes I see swatches on light/med/dark skin as brands have been doing more often and can’t believe how drastically different they look!
Yeah, but zero out of 100s of people seeing they were different shades? OMBFG! Should have waited, swatched instore, and bought one. Got too carried away by NLD.
