Survey Says... June 28th, 2017
Happy Wednesday! Here's this week's survey, which you can copy and paste and share as a comment.
- Your skin tone/coloring:
- Favorite product this month?
- Most used face/cheek product this month?
- Most used eye product this month?
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertones.
Favorite product this month? Becca’s Backlight Filter Face Primer. I don’t wear foundation much, so I just wear this alone and it makes my skin look beautiful.
Most used face/cheek product this month? I’ve been using a lot of TheBalm’s Mary Lou-Manizer
Most used eye product this month? My Covergirl Supersizer probably!
Courtney, I do much the same with the Becca Backlight Filter Primer. I love how it makes my skin look and putting CC cream over-top sort of cancels out the lovely glow it gives.
Is that the purple one? Like that one, too. I really like the
Hourglass mood primer, but it’s so light that it’s only useable in winter by itself. People ask me why I’m pale!
No, it’s the pearly beige one but I like the purple one too. I have a sample of it and plan to purchase the full size if I ever manage to finish up another of the primers I have on the go.
Nc25 winter summer nc35
Favorite product has been the maybelline color tattoo crayon in bronze truffle.
Most used face/ cheek has been tom ford ravish and any coral blush mixed with wetnwild ticket to brazil bronzer.
Mac texture has been my most used eyeshadow especially now because I have a serious tan going on.
Skintone / coloring : light, NC 20, med brown hair and eyes. Oily skin.
Favorites: Modern Renaissance. I cannot quit it and it’s so much better than its warm tone competitors. Trust! Lol. A new favorite are the Loreal Infallible Paints Matte. I have Peach Pit. In love with this color! Otherwise my Tarte Shape Tape and Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer!
Face/cheeks: Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. Loreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation. Otherwise I’ve used various blushes. Lancome Miel Glace. Too Faced Love Flush Blush in Baby Love. The new Maybelline Fit Me Blush in Mauve. Becca Flowerchild Blush.
Eyes: ABH Modern Renaissance. Only thing I’ve used pretty consistently!
I was at the LANCOME counter on Sunday, preparing for my last LANCOME order before I leave my department store job in cosmetics (I am a full-time licensed clinical social worker at a hospital working 50 hours a week and working on the weekends has become too much). I was sighing over all the LANCOME blushes I have used, owned and loved over the last seven years, including Miel Glace. I am tempted to replenish all my favorites before I go, but I own over 50 amazing blushes and it just seems ridiculous to keep buying more. Sigh.
Tammy, It must be hard leaving especially working at the lancome counter it sounds like it is something you enjoy especially because you love makeup. You will definitely end up enjoying your time off even though you are working another full time job it will feel like your on vacation because you are so use to working all the time. Just think of how much more time you will get to spend with your family. My husband also works two full time jobs 7 days a week but when he does take a day off or two he feels like he’s had a weeks vacation.
Maria, I know what you mean, I get giddy like a child whenever I have a full weekend off!
I am sorry to hear your husband works two full-time jobs. That must be rough☹️
Sometimes it can be rough but we are use to it and thankfully he loves all the great people that he works with.
Congratulations Tammy for leaving your part time job – it’s hard, but your health and mental well being is more important. I have often wondered how you managed to do two jobs. Now you can rest in on a Saturday morning and spend more time with your precious, new grandson. Enjoy!
Awww, thank you for your kind words, Genevieve ?
LICSW is meaningful and necessary work. You change lives. You counsel. You provide access to services. Yeah, you transfer people to rehab and other post acute care, but you make a true difference. SW is for society. M/u is for you. Just channel your creativity into your internet postings. Leaving is always hard, but maybe you can fit in some Lancôme weekends at Christmas, when the store gets extra help, just to keep your hand in. Or free-lance. You don’t have a cosmetology license too, do you? You are amazing and an inspiration. In the long run, you will appreciate not having to dance so fast.
Kuhn, Remind me to get your assistance next time I’m writing a resume, lol! I really love being a social worker, for all the reasons you listed and so many more. I love my clients and it does feel good when I can make a difference.
Sorry, kjh, my phone autocorrected me and screwed up your initials?
Your skin tone/coloring: Light with yellow undertones. Light/medium in the summer.
Favorite product this month? St. Tropez Gradual Tan Plus Sculpt and Glow. It’s such a great gradual self-tanner. You just put it on like regular moisturizer every night or morning and the tan looks so natural.
Most used face/cheek product this month? I love the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. Such a great summer color.
Most used eye product this month? I just bought a bunch of the ColourPop pressed shadows and I can’t stop using them. They’re incredible for the price point.
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair with neutral undertones; magenta/red hair; hazel/green eyes.
Favorite product this month? Laura Geller Diamond Dust Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator
Most used face/cheek product this month? Milani Rose Blush in Coral Cove; Sephora Tranquil (as contour powder); e.l.f. HD Powder
Most used eye product this month? Urban Decay Primer Potion; Urban Decay Moondust Palette; various indie brand loose eyeshadows
Skin tone: Medium Warm (MAC NC 37, Too Faced Sand)
Favorite product this month: The Jean Michel Basqiuat Gold Griot palette used in conjunction with sparkling eyeshadows and loose pigments (currently using Jouer’s Skinny Dip palette).
Most used face and cheek: Guerlain BB cream and NARS Luminous Weightless foundation, Joeur Skinnydip highlighter, MAC’s Nutcracker Sweet Copper face compact (OMG, so beautiful in the summer!), and Clinique Cheek Pop blushes in Heather and Peach.
Most used eye products: Laura Mercier Eye Repair Cream, UD Primer Potiot in Greed (has this color been discontinued???), and Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill mascara (why do I always start liking my mascara in the third month, right as it’s about time to replace it?).
My teenage daughter used my Gold Griot palette and did the prettiest look. She wore reddish brown Not For Sale in the crease. She put MAC’S Chrome Yellow on the eyelid and she layered the gold Crown on top. It was stunning and I could not stop staring at her eyes
Thanks, Erica, for sharing your daughter’s combination. I’m pretty sure I have chrome yellow at home, will have to try this look!
Erica, I don’t know if I did it the same, but here is my version of your daughter’s look.
https://instagram.com/p/BV7WcIIhSoS/
I just checked it out, Tammy, looks amazing!
Very similar. The chrome yellow just makes the crown shadow pop. Stunning!
That sounds like a gorgeous eye look!
Your skin tone/coloring: fair, cool
Favorite product this month? Smashbox Legendary lipstick
Most used face/cheek product this month? Bobbi Brown Maui “bronzer”
Most used eye product this month? it’s turning out still to be Josie Maran creamy oil (my “reaction” came back and now I have to start figuring out what it is….I fear it might be a Jouviance eye serum that was having such positive results for me but it could be my UDPP – bit I am only having this reaction on my one eyelid, which seems so odd)
Don’t forget to use the Cosdna ingredient ratings. And EWG. They really help in figuring out the logical culprit. Like when mufe waterblend punked on me. Check Cosdna, and poof! Benzyl salicylate has a big fat 7 and is both a chem sunscreen and a fragrance modifier. Already knew I had a problem with the sunscreens. BS is in a lot of By Terry and French products. You will feel much more secure, and buy fewer irritants, once you know. Good luck!
Kjh:
I’m just curious what you’re referring to in regards to Cosdna and EWG. I’ve been dealing with major skin irritation with skin creams/serum/eye cream but not makeup. I used a bunch of Kiehl’s anti aging products and had a serious reaction of contact dermatitis. Just last week, I tried La Roche Posay sunscreen and had the same reaction. I’ve gone to the doctor, but even they have a difficult time knowing what it is until I do a patch test. If there’s another resource – I’d love to know!
Your skin tone/coloring: Very fair, olive undertones. Hazel eyes and dark auburn hair.
Favorite product this month? Wayne Goss 15 fan brush! It’s a lifesaver for me trying to use very-pigmented blushes, bronzers, and highlighters
Most used face/cheek product this month? IT Cosmetics CC cream. It has such a lovely finish and surprising lasting power. They reall need to expand their shade range, because the formula is so, so, so nice. It has enough coverage where I feel like you can’t really get away with a “close enough” shade match, like you can with a tinted moisturizer for example. I also don’t feel like it clogs my pores and it’s easy to remove with my usual oil cleanser.
Most used eye product this month? Makeup Atelier Paris 5 Eyeshadows palette in Natural Chesnut. I didn’t like it at first but once I scraped the hard top layer off with a tissue, the product is fantastic, creamy, pigmented, and blendable, and it’s a really well-organized set of shades! I can do very subtle looks or a really nice smoky eye. Plus, it’s all-matte!
Light, freckled, cool-toned
Favorite product: Bobbi Brown Eye Opening Mascara is new to me this month, and so far, I like it!
Most used face/cheek: UD Shapeshifter
Most used eye: MUG shadow singles have been used quite a bit lately!
Your skin tone/coloring: MAC NC15/ NARS Gobi
Favorite product this month? IPKN The Luxury Radiant Cover Cushion SPF50+ PA+++ No. 21 (Nature Beige)
Most used face/cheek product this month? Glossier Cloud Paint in Beam
Most used eye product this month? The Estee Edit Inside Track Eye Kajal in Nude/ Bordeaux
Ami, do you know how many shades of the IPKN Radiant Cover Cushion Foundation are available? I have looked on-line and only see two shades. I am about NW 5-10 and wondered if you thought No. 21 would be lite enough for me? I have cool undertones. I love cushion foundations and since my HG Korean Foundation is no longer available in the US I am interested in trying some other lines. I see a huge price difference between stores, Amazon and E-bay for this product so I am not sure if some of them are not really the actual product. If you don’t mind, where do you purchase yours?
Thank you.
Hi Deborah! From what I know of Korean beauty, any cushion compact or BB cream in shade #13 should match your skin tone. I’m a MAC NC15 and shade #21 usually matches me perfectly. Many Korean brands are now coming out with shade #13 as well as shades with different undertones (pink vs beige). There are two YouTubers who have very fair skin tones that do a variety of foundation reviews (both U.S. brands and Korean brands): thataylaa and Little Porcelain Princess. You should check out their channels-I think it would help you out.
I purchased my IPKN cushion off eBay at a very discounted price. I think I paid about $6 and it came with a refill cushion too. I’m not sure about its authenticity, but it smells good, feels great on the skin, looks amazing, and wears well. I’ve been using it all month and it hasn’t broken me out or clogged my pores and I have oily-combo, acne-prone skin.
Hope this helps!
Do you find the Cloud Paint easy to blend over foundation? I’m loving the way they look in pictures and ads but I’m afraid they’ll move around foundation underneath!
Hi Kat! I haven’t had any issues with applying it over (liquid) foundation whether I’m applying it with my fingertips or with a stippling brush. It has a lightweight, gel-cream texture that makes it very easy to blend. It leaves behind a sheer wash of color, doesn’t go patchy, and wears for a long time. I own the shade Haze too and that one is more vibrant and wears even longer.
1. Fair with very warm undertones!
2. Kat Von D metal crush eye shadow in Synergy. A shimmery, warm brown eye shadow is an essential part of my every day eye shadow look, and this is what I’ve been reaching for lately! The formula is quite nice, and the colour is warm enough for my liking, as I find a lot of browns too cool for my taste.
3. Sephora Collection radiant luminizing drops in Morning Light. I discovered this when I was randomly trying on liquid highlighters in Sephora. I waayyy prefer this over the Becca liquid highlighters – it’s more glowy rather than shimmery, and actually shows up better on me than Moonstone or Pearl, which aren’t radiant enough on my fair skin. It’s slightly less shimmery than the Marc Jacobs coconut dew drops (and really similar in colour too!), and reminds me a lot of the Josie Maran argan enlightenment illuminizer, just in a different shade.
I’ve also been using the Nars liquid blush in Dolce Vita a lot. I like how it’s more matte than the other options in the line, although I have to be careful with it and use a sponge to soak up the excess, since it’s sooo pigmented on my skin. Just. One. Drop. On one cheek. And then I take some of that for the other cheek LOL. I don’t like pumps (at least not for this product, as I don’t need as much as it pumps out), so I actually do the thing where you leave the pump stuck in the lid, and use the tube that pumps up the liquid as a dropper lol.
4. Ahh, the boring answer is Urban Decay primer potion lol. Just the plain ole regular one. The slightly less boring answer is the Physician’s Formula 2-in-1 lash boosting eyeliner + serum in Deep Brown. It’s sooo satisfyingly easy to apply! It’s not very pigmented, and doesn’t have good lasting power – but that’s fine for my purposes haha. I use it as if you were sketching a picture and then outlining it with ink; first I use it to draw my winged eye liner, then I go over it with a second eye liner that’s more pigmented but harder to apply. This way my fidgety, non-artistic fingers can get the perfect wing! Plus the second eye liner I use is in a colour I like better haha.
Synergy is the first thing I tried from KVD and after that I was hooked!
Thanks for the reminder to pull out Synergy and play!
Your skin tone/coloring: light to medium with yellow undertones, dark brown eyes, black hair
Favorite product this month? Milani Romantic Rose blush or Tarte Glitzy Lipsurgence

Favorite product this month? Laura Mercier Blemish-less foundation primer. Works pretty well, nice finish, no breakouts, good for summer.
Most used face/cheek product this month? See above re face. Cheek: Toss up between Laura Geller Pink Grapefruit baked blush and Lancôme blush subtil in Coral Kiss
Most used eye product this month? Aside from staples like the mascara and eyebrow pencil I use daily, Anastasia eyeshadows in Blazing, China Rose and Soft Gold — sometimes together, sometimes one or another. Am liking a touch of pink and coral for summer eyes looks.
Your skin tone/coloring: light and warm
Favorite product this month? YSL Pop Water in Eau de Corail
Most used face/cheek product this month? Diorskin Nude Air Serum foundation
Most used eye product this month? Lancome le Metallique liquid eyeshadow
Skin tone: Very fair, NW5-10
Favorite product this month: Becca Christy Teigen palette. I have used the palette in every conceivable way including as eye shadows, blushes, contour and lip toppers. I am really enjoying it.
Most used face/cheek product: See above.
Most used eye product this month: UD Eden primer.
Over the past few days I have been using the UD Naked Heat palette that I purchased for my daughter. I didn’t want to buy one for myself as I am so much fairer than she is and didn’t think it would work for me. I also, in general, prefer cooler toned shadows. However, I have really been enjoying using the palette and have decided to order one for myself. I have had no difficulties with the palette. Even the shades that are not stellar work well with primer. They all blend really beautifully. I agree there isn’t much contrast between a few of the shades but so far I have not had issues.
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium w/ olive undertones MAC NC37 or Lancôme Teint Idole 24H N360, deep plummy-brunette, blue-green eyes w/ gold flecks.
Favorite product this month? I’m still loving all my goodies I got at the tail end of May going this month! Jouer Skinny Dip palette, MAC Steve J & Yoni P collection, and also UD Jean-Michel Basquiat Tenant palette!
Most used face/cheek product this month? UD Jawbone, MAC Oh My, Passion and Sugar Or Syrup. Have been using my It CC Cream far more often than foundation, too.
Most used eye product this month? Has to be a UD Jean-Michel Basquiat Tenant palette! Plus, ABH Modern Renaissance Palette. Both feel like “summer”!
Nancy, what are some of your favorite combinations from the Tenant Palette? Have you used the Gold Griot palette and the Tenant palette together to create looks, or do you keep them separate? (I am wearing the colors from the UD Jean Michel cheek palette today.)
Skin tone & coloring-Light medium with a bit of a cool undertone, Dark Blond Hair, blue eyes.
Favorite product- It Cosmetics Anti-Aging Armour
Most Used Face/cheek product- Mac Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Base
Most Used eye product- Giorgio Armani Eye Tints in #10 Senso and #11 Rose Ashes
That pink one? I have two samples and love it, too. Based on your descriptions, I’m your color cos grandmother! Gotta check those shadows. I like It often, due to the use of mineral sunscreen. Check out Christine’s review of the Zoeva En Taupe palette. I think it’s perfection, for s.o. with our general coloring. I liked it so much I did a 6 pan ‘extension palette’ with Sephora singles in the same color family. First things I’d save, if the stash caught fire.
Skintone: MAC NC23. light, warm toned, warm brown hair, and hazel eyes!
Fave product this month: l’oral total cover foundation!! I finally found my PERFECT shade in this foundation!
Most used face/cheek product this month: ELF dark blush palette. Its great! I love the plummy shade, and the really deep dark red!
Most used eye product this month: colourpop Nillionaire! I’m on my THIRD pot of it. It’d perfect for quick eye looks. I buff a transition shade onto my hood, then a slightly deeper crease shade, and then I pat this all over my lids! As mascara and I’m good to go!
Your skin tone/coloring: Light with neutral undertones
Favorite product this month? My Algenist Sublime Optical Illuminating Moisturizer! On busy “mom” days, I will wear only this on my face, and it will truly blur my imperfections and give me a subtle, lit from within glow. I have super dry skin as well and it’s very moisturizing!
Most used face/cheek product this month?Chrissy TeigenxBecca Cosmetics Face Palette! The colors give you the perfect summer bronzed glow, and are so flattering on so many skin tones!
Most used eye product this month? Oh My How High Lengthening Mascara by Butter London and Stila Kajal Liner in Topaz. I’ve been obsessed with this mascara since it came out! It gives me the longest, most fluttery lashes! And the liner is a gorgeous Peach shade. I wear it on my waterline during the summer and it makes me look so bright eyed and gives just the right pop of color to a warm eye look.
Your skin tone/coloring: fair/ neutral, black hair/ blue eyes
Favorite product this month? May Coop Raw Sauce. It’s the only reason I look human right now.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Hourglass Ambient Blush Palette. It was the one blush that I didn’t pack for the move.
Most used eye product this month? Urban Decay Naked Palette- same reason as above. I figured that such versatile things were good to hang onto while everything else went into boxes!
Your skin tone/coloring: NC15 w/some redness
Favorite product this month? Lancome Matte Shakers
Most used face/cheek product this month? Glossier Cloud Paints
Most used eye product this month? Not much. I’ve been throwing whatever bronzer I’ve been wearing on my eyes if anything at all
Tone/coloring: NC25, light to medium. Warm brown hair & eyes
Favorite Product this month: J. One Jelly Pack Primer (has a weird tacky texture at first which goes away) . Keeps foundation fresh. Also The Ordinary products!
Most used face/cheek product: Algenist Sublime sunscreen spf 50
Most used eye product: Marc Jacob eye pencils – can’t get enough of them!
Your skin tone/coloring: NW15, Sephora 1R04, MUFE HD R230

Most used eye product this month?: Isehan Kiss Me Heroine Make Long & Curl & Super Water Proof Mascara 01, Heroine Make SP smooth liquid eyeliner super keep 01
To me, the power of snail is moisture without clogging. I’m aging/oily/dehydrated, and that one is perfect. Also like the Mizon snail recovery gel cream.
I bought it a few weeks ago, and it is just such a pleasure to apply! I will check out the Mizon as well–thanks so much!
coloring-light olive, neutral
favorite product this month: cover shot shadow palette in ablaze
favorite face/cheek product: Mac cremeblend blush “Something Special”
Most used eye product this month: Cle de peau concealer in beige
Your skin tone/colouring: Porcelain, with pink undertones
Favourite product this month? Hmmm – that would go to my Swisse Sweet Almond Cleansing cream – very lightly scented and it gets off all my makeup. Quite inexpensive too and full of goodies. Vegan and cruelty free.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Rimmel Match Perfection Gel foundation in light porcelain. I didn’t think I would be a gel/cream kind of foundation girl, but it was on sale and I thought, why not? Now I love it.
Most used eye product this month? That would have to be 3 shades from Vice 2 – Derailed, Ambush and Rewind. I use other shades from other palettes (a tad annoying when you have a big palette and you still have to reach for other shades) to soften the look – I don’t use all three shades at once, but they are divine everyday colours.
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair/light with neutral undertones.
Favorite product this month? MAC Twig lipstick
Most used face/cheek product this month? Kat von D Shade & Light contour palette
Most used eye product this month? MAC Satin Taupe eyeshadow

Most used Cheek product this month and my current favorite: Bobbi Brown Santa Barbara blush
Most Used Eye Product on & off this month: Dior Show Mono summer single shadows blazing and bronze.
~nw 15-20. Think I’ll like COTZ face lotion. The tint is virtually nothing, but it doesn’t clash and it doesn’t leave massive whitecast. TM plays well over it. I’ve been using metric tons of goopy baby/sensitive titanium zinc stuff, and the COTZ is comparatively elegant. Not really, though. Haven’t done a lot of m/u, and when i did, it was strictly rotation. Liking the new msfs, though. And plenty of CP. had a fair amount of inflammation, so let’s not infect the eye makeup. You can spatula out some cpsss, though, and blend away…or else use fingers…a different one each time! More use of the Paula light resist serum and differin every night.
I wear Medium Beige foundation. Have yellow undertones.
Bobbi Brown Tulle lipstick
Urban Decay Lo Fi Blush from Gwen Stefani palette
No 7 eyeshadow that I’m panning
Skin tone: NC20 / NW20.

Most used face/cheek product this month? NARS Charlotte Gainsbourg Multiple in Jeanette

Your skin tone/coloring: Deep Dark / NW50
Favorite product this month? My items from the Ordinary skincare brand. The brand has forever changed how I use and look at skincare. I love it!
Most used face/cheek product this month? Elf Apricot Glow highlighter. You have to rub off a thin top layer to get to the good stuff. Great for deeper skintones.
Most used eye product this month? Goddess Koko Lashes
Neutral tone; but I go from very fair neutral in the winter to light-medium neutral now, from the sun (even with sunscreen).
Favourite new product my large Z-Palette, OMG makes my makeup drawer so much easier to manage! Also my Sephora precision brush #67 is so firm yet soft for under/around eyes and nose area.
Eye makeup, Too Faced Natural Love palette and a swack of Colour Pop shadows.
For cheeks, I always return to my Dior Healthy Glow Awakening Blush, it has such an ethereal and natural look.
Your skin tone/coloring: NC15
Favorite product this month? Marc Jacobs Ivory Light 10
Most used face/cheek product this month? Nars Impassioned
Most used eye product this month? Naked 1, BareMinerals The Wish List Ready Palette and Colourpop Stomper Gel Eyeliner
Your skin tone/coloring: Fair, neutral undertones, freckles
Favorite product this month? Giorgio Armani Black Ecstasy Mascara (makes my eyelashes so long and fluffy! which is saying a lot considering I have about 3 short stubby eyelashes) only downside is that it’s not waterproof and flakes the tiniest bit on me.
Most used face/cheek product this month? Glossier Cloud Paint in in Beam, the Pat McGrath highlight stick in the pinkier shade, and Laura Geller Baked Highlighter in French Vanilla/Portofino
Most used eye product this month? Still in a serious love affair with my ABH Modern Renaissance palette… it’s making me seriously consider buying the Coloured Raine Queen of Hearts palette to pair the two!
Skin tone/coloring: Medium tan/Neutral-warm, Dark golden blonde hair, dark green eyes
Favorite product: perennial fave Cargo reverse lip liner
Most used face/cheek product this month: Nars Laguna bronzer and Tarte Shape Tape
Most used eye product this month: L’Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer and Lash Paradise (I use them together every day)
Loreal’s Lash Paradise is getting a lot of love from youtube reviewers as well! I keep hearing about it. Maybe I should try!
It is great, but that white primer makes it, and all mascaras, so much better. If you go to Walgreen’s when they have one if their many buy one get one 50% sales, pick up the pair.
Hi All!
Your skin tone/coloring: Medium/Tan. NARS St. Moritz Tinted Moisturizer, MAC NC 35
Favorite product this month?
Jouer Lip topper in Rose Gold.
Our community probably already knows this, but a lip topper is exactly that. I don’t recommend wearing this product alone. BUT wearing it over a lip gloss, lipstick, or lip pencil is gorgeous. The smell is a bit strong for me, but I am loving this!
Most used face/cheek product this month?
I can’t stop using my NARS Orgasm blush. It just works, especially this time of year.
Most used eye product this month?
Urban Decay Shakedown eyeshadow (discontinued unfortunately)
This shade is taupey, shimmery shade, which I’m sure you can find with many other brands. I’ve been doing a three shadow look lately with all over bone color to set the entire lid, Shakedown on my lid, and my NARS laguna bronzer in the crease. So beautiful and can go from day to night.
I’m going to add a category! 🙂
Product that surprised you the most this month?
My Holy Grail mascara is the Benefit Rollerlash. However, I was separated from my makeup bog for a day (left it in my partner’s car) and was forced to use other products. I was so surprised by Loreal’s Voluminous Feline Noir mascara. Really fluffy, voluminous lengthening formula. Keep in mind that I do use Grande Lash MD (which I highly recommend), so my lashes are in really good shape right now. Regardless, I’m surprised by how much I like the Feline Noir. It’s certainly a cheaper option!
Your skin tone/coloring: Very Fair/Cool
Favorite product this month? My By Terry CC Lumi Serums (Sunny Flash and Rose Elixir; Immaculate Light is going to ship any day now – yes, I love them that much!) Sunny Flash gives the lightest hint of a tan to my face and makes it glow; they’re a hybrid of skincare and makeup and I see rotating through the colors as the seasons change – Sunny Flash will be my go to for summer of course! I did get a sample of Apricot Glow too and it’s gorgeous. I think warmer tones would love this over the pink one.
Most used face/cheek product this month? That’s a tie between two By Terry products – the CC Lumi Serum in Sunny Flash and the Glow Expert Duo Stick in Amber Light. This is definitely going to be my summer of By Terry and Chantecaille products.
Most used eye product this month? That’s an easy one since I haven’t been doing much in terms of eye looks – Chantecaille Faux Cils mascara. Apart from random eye look experimentation with ND shadows it’s a bit of bronzer in the crease.
Your skin tone/coloring: MAC NC15, NARS Sheer Glow in Gobi
Favorite product this month? Hmmm.. I know, I’m waay behind everyone else here on this, I only just managed to get it after all this time, but…. Naked 3 eyeshadow palette :). Blendable, beautiful colors, versatile, etc., etc.
Most used face/cheek product this month? This month and quite a few months before it its my trusty MUFE Pro Fusion Bronzer in i15. Fail proof. From the new additions it would be MUFE (again :)) Pro Light Fusion #1 and MAC Prep + Prime Essential Oils Stick
Most used eye product this month? Again. This month and quite a few months before it’s MAC Prep + Prime 24-Hour Extend Eye Base (this one is a staple, do not want to look for anything to replace it). From the new acquisitions, the Naked 3, of course.
