Jouer Rose Gold Powder Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Rose Gold
Jouer Rose Gold Powder Highlighter ($24.00 for 0.16 oz.) is a light, gold-shimmered pink with subtle, warm undertones and a luminous sheen. A lot of the warmth came from the shimmer, as the base seemed cooler in comparison.
According to the brand, it’s supposed to be a “creamy, powder formula” that is “long-wearing, highly pigmented” and gives a “lit-from-within glow.” It had semi-opaque pigmentation that applied evenly to bare skin, and it was buildable to full coverage, if desired. The consistency was smooth, blendable, and easy to work with as the powder wasn’t too firm or too soft in the pan. The highlighter was noticeable on the skin without emphasizing my skin’s natural texture. It wore well for eight hours on me before fading.

Formula Overview
$24.00/0.16 oz. - $150.00 Per Ounce
The formula is supposed to be "long-wearing, highly pigmented" and have a "radiant finish." They are semi-opaque to opaque typically with a denser, creamier consistency that doesn't have any powderiness or dustiness to it. The powders apply well to bare skin, blended out easily, and tend to have a stronger, metallic sheen--definitely a more intense highlighter. They lasted between eight and nine hours on me.

Phew! I have Becca Rose Quartz so I don’t need this 😉
Yay for dupes!
This might be a blush on me but it’s reallllllllllly pretty. 😉
I could see it working as a blush on someone very fair!
So lovely! Will you be swatching/ reviewing their liquid lipsticks?!
Glad you liked it!
Oh so pretty!!! Will need to check my MAC Beaming Blush, see if it’s too close, but if it isn’t, will get it
Let me know how Beaming Blush compares!
???! This made me sweat! So so stunning. I could see it being a lighter blush topper on fair skinned people, and a gorgeous highlight on deeper!
It would work well on many skin tones!
Despite this highlighter having a bit of a duochrome shift, it actually looks very natural and fresh! I’ve got 1st Light in my EEG&G duo. If I want to amp up a duochrome effect, I can add some UD “X” eyeshadow over it, I think.
X would definitely be close! If you have MAC Expensive Pink, that could work, too!
I was dying to own a rose gold highlighter just like this one, but for the life of me, I can’t get this to show the pink base on me, it kinda just looks like a common gold highlighter 🙁 and I’m an NC20. *sad*
Do you think that you have stronger yellow undertones, Silvia? I’m wondering if maybe your undertones mute the pink!
This looks very pretty but I already own too many beautiful rose gold highlighter It is the last thing that I need or want. I like how it looks on you Christine & your eye look is gorgeous.
Thank you so much, Maria!
Just love it!
Yay! 🙂
This is lovely! I love the added dimension the gold shimmer gives. I don’t think it would work with my darker, yellow leaning complexion, but I could see this working wonderfully on fairer folks.
Very pretty light pink highlighter! Really subtle, just lovely.
A gorgeous shade that totally complements your lip creme. Beautiful.
This is beautiful!
I like most of the Jouer products I have, and I’ve been thinking about getting one of their highlighters. This one might be somewhere between a highlighter and a blush, but why not 🙂
Looks like it would be too orangey on me.
How stunninggggg xoxo
I’m glad it scored good ratings here 😀 😀 picked this from CULT , it looks more peachy gold on my NC 40 skin tone 😀 😀
your fav highlighter ATM ??
MAC Superb or Fairly Precious!
How does the formula compare to the other 3 shades of powder highlighter from Jouer? From your swatches those original 3 look much more metallic and chunky glittery while this one is more subtle? Thanks! 🙂
Looks so pretty, thanks for the review! Is it quite similar to the highlighter shade in Tom Ford Pink Glow Eye & Cheek Compact from 2015 do you think?
