Best Brush for Packing on Eyeshadow

What's the best Brush for Packing on Eyeshadow that you've tried?

MAC 239 for sure! It’s still my all-time favorite for applying eyeshadow to the lid. I also like Chikuhodo’s GSN-09, but it’s very, very soft so it doesn’t work as well as firmer/denser textures. I use Smith’s 253 all the time, as the triangular edge makes for great precision for the inner and outer lid.

Because Target pulled out of Canada, I can no longer get SK “anything” but as they were closing, things got marked down more and more and more as the final days approached and I think I got them (I bought 3 or 4 of them plus a few other SK brushes) for 3 bucks or so. They are surprisingly good.

An eye brush kit from real techniques! Love the brushes. The overall shadow brush is a little too fluffy, wish it was more densely packed.

A Wet n Wild brush, not their new line, I found on clearance for 74 cents. I gravitate towards it more than anything more high end

In general, I don’t like MAC brushes. I find their quality to be very poor. That being said, the best packing brush I’ve ever owned has been the MAC 239. Nowadays I seldom “pack” eyeshadow so the MAC is somewhere at the bottom of my brush box.

I prefer the MAC 239 also. I do have a random brush that I picked up about 15 years ago and can’t remember where. It doesn’t have a name on it but it works just as well as the 239 and I can’t imagine I paid more than $2-3 for it.
