This seems to be a broader inclusion of more “nude” shades of WOC–I like!
I agree! So many people will probably find a MLBB shade from these, and even though they probably won’t work for me, I’m all for a broader range of shades.
Oh look – more variations of brown…. *yawn*
I’m so excited to see reviews of these as more of the upcoming shades come out!!! You know I have my eyes on more of the exciting colors like the blues and greens, but if these lighter nude shades perform well I’d be happy to fill a gap in my wardrobe!
The name of her lipsticks ?
like yessssss
Pretty, but I’d have liked to more brights for spring. Everyone is coming out with nudes/neutrals, it seems.
Here are some bright colors she is coming out with… Zero: “A pale cement gray,” named after one of her best friends’ cats.
Dagger: “Cool, dusty gray/periwinkle.”
Woolf: Inspired by one of JKat’s favorite poets, Virginia Woolf.
Plan 9: The liquid version of the existing Studded Kiss green shade.
Dreamer: Neon aqua.
Blue Blooded: Luscious royal blue.
Roxy: Already a special edition shade, this will be released full size in April or March.
K-Dub: “Named this beautiful soft/neon berry after a woman I look up to in many ways: Kristin Walcott (the vice president of Kendo, the company that distributes Kat Von D Beauty). Pre-launching 4/20.
Rubens: Inspired by Kat’s favorite Old Master, Peter Paul Rubens. This color will be limited edition, and only available at katvondbeauty.com
Thank you, Sara! 🙂
No problem!
Excited about these IDGAF about the haters.
More pinky browns!
Yes!!! She is just expanding her shade range which is awesome- she has tons of bold non-brown colors (which she will be expanding as well!) Not sure why people are hating. The nude/brown shades she has now don’t work for everyone still so maybe this release will help some people find their perfect nude.
While the formula isn’t my favorite (Sephora creamstains, Stila liquid lipstick, and NYX liquid suede are all more comfortable), I love this expansion in shade range! It’s hard for me to find nudes that work for my skin tone and I am sure I am not the only one, so this is exciting!
I think the market for these colors is oversaturated, between Too Faced’s contributions, Tarte, and the Kylie lip kits. Which is why people are all “blah” about it. BUT, I didn’t really like ANY of those brand’s pinky brown offerings so I am all for more options!
I’m going to wait for the discounted bundle of these that @trendmood1 said that she is releasing in February!!I saw lip swatches of these colors and they are very nice shades!!
any info on the bundle set in Feb?
Muneca might work for me. Could the name actually be Spanish for doll: Muñeca??
It is.
Tawny roses are my best colors. Going to check on Ludwig when your review comes out!
If my lips could tolerate this formula, I would love Ludwig. Tawny Rose just sounds like perfection!
Have you tried using a lip mask before hand (and lightly patting off the excess) or using a balm like Jack Black prior to application? I have chronic dry lips due to certain health issues and have been able to wear them using Bite Lip Mask and/or Jack Black balm.
Those are beautiful. I want all the dark brown shades
