J. Cat Beauty Twilight You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter Review, Photos, Swatches
Twilight
J. Cat Beauty Twilight You Glow Girl Baked Highlighter ($9.00 for 0.30 oz.) is a slightly muted, medium gold with warm, brown undertones and a sparkling finish. There were larger bits of sparkle strewn throughout the powder, which made for a rougher texture overall.
The formula is described as a “multi-dimensional baked formula” that has “all day long” wear with an “intense shimmer pigment.” It had medium, buildable pigmentation that blended out surprisingly well, given the chunks of sparkle in it. I noticed a moderate amount of the sparkles on my cheeks, so this might not be suitable for anyone averse to glitter. It had a more metallic sheen overall, but it did emphasize my pores slightly. This shade wore well for seven hours before fading.

Sigh it’s such a pretty highlight, too bad about the sparkles and how it emphasizes pores.
Wish it did do better, it could’ve been a great dupe for the Dior highlighter.
It is very close in tone for sure!
In a sea of great highlighters, all scoring A’s, it’s not bad, but needs to better to compete. I can tell from the swatch that the texture isn’t as finely milled and not as well blended as it should be
Well-said, Katherine!
Wow! This sure looks beautiful on you! I do have EE 14K Glow, so I’m good. I just have to remember that I actually have it! My acrylic makeup organizer is due to arrive tomorrow, so then I will be better able to quickly spot it as it will no longer sit underneath other stuff.
That is close enough! 🙂
Too much sparkly stuff emphasises pores – sorry, but no.
Easy to skip this one!
I’m so curious about these highlighters! And I love the way they are designed!
