Bite Beauty Rhubarb/Thistle The Perfect Pair Amuse Bouche Lipstick Set
Love the idea of minis for $15, but Meringue and Thistle won’t look good on me. But hope BITE does more of these sets!
It makes two of us with respect to Meringue and Thistle :).
Oooh, I hadn’t heard about these at all– and they’re available now? *squee*
How cute! And practical, too, as their mini’s hold up quite well. I think this would be a nice segueway for me to replace my dying MAC Modesty with Rubarb, while experimenting with Thistle.
Ya know, I love BiTE but their Deluxe sizes are really just too small that it’s worth it buying a full sized item. They are great for travel.
Tbh, I’m not loving the price point on these duos at all. Previous “Perfect Pair” duos from Bite have been $14 for 2 half-sized High Pigment Pencils, which is a $24 retail value and an excellent value. Judging by the Amuse Bouche vault, Bite has also reduced the size of their lipstick minis (the minis used to be 0.07oz when they had them in the Luminous Creme formula – I have a few) to 0.05oz, which is 1/3 of a full-sized lipstick. The retail value on 2 1/3-sized Amuse Bouche lipsticks is around $17, and they are priced at $15…a MUCH poorer value. Not to mention I’m also pretty bummed that they don’t have a brighter/less muted duo option for those of us who prefer a bold lip.
I love a lot of Bite products and what the brand stands for, but they are making a lot of moves that seem unnecessarily greedy as of late – just look at the ridiculous price hike on their lip lab service. Custom lipsticks used to be $50ish or so; they are now $150 for the exact same thing. Why can’t we (those of us with average or less means) have nice things?? :'(
These look a little too light and nude for my taste! Of course Im happy because I REALLY do no need more lipstick! 😛
Love this!
I already own Thistle, Rhubarb and Fig so not interested in these but for someone who doesn’t know the brand, this formula or who might be interested in these colors it looks like a nice way to try them out.
Oooh! I might need Rhubarb/Thistle.
SOLD! GIMME NAO!
Oh, goodness help me, Bite Beauty! Wonderful lipsticks and a lovely price point just in time for my birthday. I have Fig from the holiday set, but I’ve been wanting Thistle, and I don’t have Rhubarb… That duo will be mine.
These look gorgeous!
I love Bite Beauty and the minis idea. Meringue and Thistle won’t look good on me though. I really like Fig and Rhubarb but I already have the former in the Rose Gold/Fig duo, as well as in the set released for the holidays. I have Rhubarb in the High Pigment Pencils Duo (Rhubarb/Chablis). So I will pass this time but I hope they will release other sets in the lipstick or lip pencil version !
Bite beauty minis always break on me. I wish they would make full size lipstick sets in duos or trios or like what Urban Decay did with the 30 full sized lipstick set.
I recently won a set of four in a giveaway, Fig included, and I love them. Even though Fig is the color that suits me the least, the formulation and wear time is amazing. And the mini size is really cute.
I like this concept!
As opposed to those weird so-called Neutrals, these I love. Very wearable and flattering colors for a lot of people.
