Smashbox Grunge Be Legendary Lipstick ($21.00 for 0.10 oz.) is a muted, medium-dark grayish purple-taupe with neutral-to-warm undertones and a natural finish. It had medium coverage that was somewhat builable--to semi-opaque but not to full coverage.
The Be Legendary formula is supposed to have "rich, vibrant color" that is long-wearing and moisturizing. The color of Grunge is fascinating, because it isn't one we see a lot, but the translucency is going to make it look different from person to person. It looked pinker and warmer on me, due to my natural lip color coming through. I wish it was as pigmented as the brand claimed, and the coverage could go on more evenly. The texture was smooth, lightly emollient, but it had a tackiness that made it a little harder to spread across the lips. It lasted for four and a half hours and was moisturizing.
