I look to bite for the standards, but also to be ahead of the curve, trendsetting. This is on point for trend, but not groundbreaking. Nice, though. Gild on! Hope it does well.
This is so pretty, I really wish they wouldn’t use lanolin in their gloss formula. Definitely a pass for that reason. I have the gold Burberry gloss from last year, which I really like, though it’s not as warm of a gold. Guess I’ll just stick with that.
I know Jouer has a gold lip topper that is pretty densely packed. It’s sort of a more champagney gold but it’s very pretty. Just checked the ingredients list and didn’t see lanolin on there either!

This has holiday season all over it of course. I can see using this on top of some other color, for just an extra shimmer.
I received this today and am quite impressed. It is definitely a bold gold foil look when worn alone but I haven’t tried it as a lip topper. I think it can also be used on eyelids as a shadow or topper.

How does this compare to the Jouer lip toppers?
I just ordered this gloss today from Sephora as per the awesome reviews. It’s a limited edition do that usually gets my attention too.
I love gold shimmer in makeup, but IDK. I saw swatches on instagram, and I’m getting visions of C- 3PO and Christmas tinsel, might be too much, even for me
I tried to get this from Sephora today–sold out! 🙁 Hope it comes back in into stock. I would definitely want to wear it over a lip color.
If my teeth were *perfectly* white, I would be all over this! It looks gorgeous, but I will happily settle for my various more subtle gold glosses, like my MAC Star Trek one. ?

It’s going to come out in other colours closer to Christmas (as heard from a Sephora employee today). I bought this gold shade and cannot wait for their rose gold to come out!
Swatched this in store yesterday and the pigmentation was insane! Super opaque, and left glitter particles all over my hand when I tried to remove it, haha! A little too out there for me, but I’m sure someone will love it 🙂
