Too Faced The Chocolate Shop Eyeshadow Palette ($58.00 for 1.41 oz.) is a large palette with 21 eyeshadows, three cheek colors, and deluxe-sized Eyeshadow Insurance/Better Than Sex Mascara/Milkshake Melted Chocolate Liquified Long Wear Lipstick. I think this is one of the last remaining sneak peeks I have, so expect more reviews next week 🙂

Hmm, a mixed bag there I think. Some nice shades there and a few real duds! It reminds me a little of the Nikkie Tutorials palette, The Power of Makeup, with the brighter shades.

Some of the shadows are tragic: Cookie Dough looks like it doesn’t even exist … either that or it’s the EXACT same color as your skin (which I doubt); also, Toffee Crunch (shudder); Lava Cake and Huckleberry are less than impressive.

Honey Dip and Pound Cake are really pretty (Pound Cake is the sort of color I’ve been thinking about getting for some time now, and I’m interested to see the dupes).

That Inner Light highlighter (blush???) is kind of magical.

Oops, something happened with iOS 10. I went away. Wish they would go back to singles, duos, maybe trios. I’d jump for glaze, guilt free, and just desserts. Seems that when tf does mega or holiday palettes, there are a few duds. Some look awesome, too. Mint chip, jingle berry, quite a few. You kind of hate to gift something that you know has duds.

These look fabulous so far. I’ve been looking at getting a whole face holiday set this year to help me minimalize my makeup wardrobe and/or have an easier something to travel with. Right now I’m trying to decide between this and the Tarte set and leaning more toward Too Faced because their bronzer/blush works better for me, but I’m trying my best to hold out for reviews or to try it out in the store.

We ought to live closer…we’d only have to buy one of the shades we like. Just kidding, ‘course. But if you did a Venn diagram of our stashes, there would be one major overlap over the past couple or so of years. Really.

Quality looks kind of all over… some look rich and some look very dusty. In any case, I can skip as I’d only be interested in ~2-3 of these shades, for which I think I’d have dupes anyway

There are some beauties, and some look awful. I do like it more than I thought I would, though I’m not generally a fan of palettes that are that big!

TF just always feels so SAMEY with a limited range of colors. I’ve bought one palette of there’s and was underwhelmed by the formula to boot. I’d like to give it another chance, but I’ve yet to see any reason why I should 🙁

Ugh I so agree. I love the TF palettes I have and am always tempted with the new releases, but when it comes down to it the majority are recycled shades (or at least the ones I have been interested in).

I love the shade of Lava Cake – that particular shade of brown – and Mint Chip and Sugar Bells reminds me of colours like the light side of Nars Habanera, UD Money and Nars Parallax – that silver with a hint of blue/green (unless it’s my screen playing tricks on me and it is just a true silver). I love that pink blush also. But Jingle Berry – again with the vibrant, deep pink. I know a lot of women love that type of shade but I can’t wear it and don’t want to wear it (don’t want to put in the effort to make it “wearable”) and I’ve already got 3 or 4 identical shades from other palettes, including TooFaced.

Is it just me or does Too Faced keep slipping in the same pinky/purple metallic shimmer and metallic teal color into a bunch of their limited edition palettes? (Maybe not the exact same color, but close enough that I am not wow’d. Oh and that dark plummy color too) It’s like a rehash of of the same colors over and over again. It’s kind of like how Urban Decay would change the Vice Palette colors ever so slightly for the next year’s holiday selection. Maybe I’m being a stinker. Hmm

I bought it…it swatches nicely and then i tried to do an eye look. I was so upset…yes i had an eye primer underneath but these shadows just refused to show up on my lid. I had to use my other palettes to complete my look and this palette found its swift way back to sephora. I will say this….inner light could easily be dominating the highlighter world but too faced only releases it in the holidays and it’s very annoying but I’m sure they do it to make suckers like me buy the palette lol.
