Oh my. Knowing how much I’m not a black lipstick kind of person, I think it must be the Marc Jacobs influence that’s making me want it. I doubt I’m going to buy it, but I’m super curious to see if it performs well.

Hmmm, for $30, that black lipstick needs to score an A. Both UD and MUFE came out with great black lipsticks this year that scored A- and A, and are a lot cheaper. Haven’t see his fall runway collection, but I assume there was a lot of black in it

Oh yes. Yes it was. It’s actually very interesting, if a touch NSFW. It was the Fall 2016 ready-to-wear collection back in February. Vogue has a write up with 66 pictures (one appeared to be a repeat). I just looked through it and loved it; the makeup was awesome for a runway show. I hope the lipstick being presented to us is as good, if not better, than what the models wore themselves.

I like how Lipstick Queen uses a black lipstick to darken brighter lipsticks. I’ll bet Marc Jacobs will be fantastic on its own as a topper. MJ never disappoints. 🙂
