The Baked Blush-n-Brighten formula is supposed to be “smooth” and “long-wearing” with “a blend of rich, marbleized color.” It had good color payoff with a soft, smooth, lightly dusty texture that sheered out slightly on the skin, but that softness did help this blend out really easily. I can see with a blush where the ability to build-up and easily sheer down would be a preference, so I think if that’s how you tend to use your blushes, you’ll be all set with the pigmentation of this shade. The finish has a stronger sheen than average but stops just shy of emphasizing pores on my skin. When I tested it, the color wore well for eight hours before fading slightly.

Love the glowy finish on the blush! Think I have some dupes already, but it goes so well with the Too Faced Honey Bear lipstick, which was of course first to sell out during last Ulta sale, will see if I can grab it next time

Wow! The arm swatch and the actual cheek application look like night and day when it comes to shimmer. I really love the color, but I’m gonna have to pass this one up because I’m still really insecure about my skin’s texture. Do you have any good matte baked blush recommendations?

Hmm. That’s tough, but probably Pink Grapefruit. It’s an easy everyday shade for me. Bali is really nice too, but I’m not sure if it’s officially part of the Blush-N-Brighten line. It was called a Baked Mono Blush, and now it’s called a Baked Color True Blush. It’s more of a satin finish compared to the very shimmery Blush-N-Brighten shades.

Yeah, it’s definitely a Laura Geller baked blush, just not technically Blush-N-Brighten, I guess! I didn’t realize until recently browsing her site how many “types” of baked blushes Laura Geller makes! All except the Baked Gelato come in the same type of packaging and look quite similar. I’ve gotten most of my LG blushes in kits. Unless you’re after a specific shade, the value can’t be beat!
