The Baked Blush-n-Brighten formula is supposed to be “smooth” and “long-wearing” with “a blend of rich, marbleized color.” It had good color payoff with a soft, smooth, lightly dusty texture that sheered out slightly on the skin, but that softness did help this blend out really easily. I can see with a blush where the ability to build-up and easily sheer down would be a preference, so I think if that’s how you tend to use your blushes, you’ll be all set with the pigmentation of this shade. The finish has a stronger sheen than average but stops just shy of emphasizing pores on my skin. When I tested it, the color wore well for eight hours before fading slightly.

This is such a pretty color and has a beautiful finish. I’m doing some serious lusting over this one.
The finish is gorgeous!
Love the glowy finish on the blush! Think I have some dupes already, but it goes so well with the Too Faced Honey Bear lipstick, which was of course first to sell out during last Ulta sale, will see if I can grab it next time
I’m surprised it sold out! I feel like I’ve never seen it mentioned anywhere, LOL!
Wow, it’s a gorgeous color and it looks really nice on you 🙂
Thanks, Chris!
Wow! The arm swatch and the actual cheek application look like night and day when it comes to shimmer. I really love the color, but I’m gonna have to pass this one up because I’m still really insecure about my skin’s texture. Do you have any good matte baked blush recommendations?
I don’t know offhand if MAC has any that are permanent, but that might be one place to check! I didn’t love Black Opal’s matte ones that I tried recently. I think LG has two that are less shimmery but haven’t tried those yet.
I’m loving this. I noticed the similarity with flowerchild right away!
Awesome!
I like this a lot, it’s very pretty!
It is! 🙂
Beautiful color on you Christine
Thank you, Rosie!
Some pink, some orange, perfect, it’s so pretty! That said, I don’t think the frost finish is something I can pull off.
Hopefully one of the others has a softer finish for you!
I have several Laura Geller’s Blush & Brighten blushes, but I don’t have this shade. It is very pretty!
Which one is your favorite of what you have, Tiffany?
Hmm. That’s tough, but probably Pink Grapefruit. It’s an easy everyday shade for me. Bali is really nice too, but I’m not sure if it’s officially part of the Blush-N-Brighten line. It was called a Baked Mono Blush, and now it’s called a Baked Color True Blush. It’s more of a satin finish compared to the very shimmery Blush-N-Brighten shades.
Ah! I don’t think Bali is one, though good to hear it is a nice one 🙂
Yeah, it’s definitely a Laura Geller baked blush, just not technically Blush-N-Brighten, I guess! I didn’t realize until recently browsing her site how many “types” of baked blushes Laura Geller makes! All except the Baked Gelato come in the same type of packaging and look quite similar. I’ve gotten most of my LG blushes in kits. Unless you’re after a specific shade, the value can’t be beat!
