The Baked Blusher formula is supposed to be “highly pigmented” and have a “natural soft effect” with a “hint of shimmer.” The texture was smooth without being dusty or powdery, and it applied easily and blended out nicely on the skin. Despite seeming to have al ot of shimmer, it gave the skin a moderate glow but did not emphasize pores for me. The downside to this shade was that it was nowhere near “highly pigmented” and just barely shows up on my medium complexion, so I would tend to recommend this to those with lighter skin tones or looking more for a highlighter in this hue. The color wore well for seven hours before fading.

Hmm, this might be nice for lighter skintones who are afraid of over-doing the pigment, but brands always seem to say highly pigmented when it’s not
They do! It seems like a lot of brands are afraid to say something is sheer/buildable!
That name tho! lol
The name actually seemed even more out of place given the rest of the names in the range!
I see what you mean about it not looking highly pigmented. Thanks for the review.
No problem!
You’re not kidding, this blush is not all that pigmented. Although I do see it on you, I don’t think it would be much more than a highlighting blush on me. Like to just bump up the glow in another pinky blush. Oh well, I guess these blushes by MUR are more geared towards lighter skin tones.
I wish they were better!
The sheen is strong with this one… once again, night wear!
Gotcha!
I think the color is really pretty, and would probably work on my fair skin.
It would be the right coverage on fair skin, I think, to make it easy to use!
Not sure about that name. It was pretty in the swatch!
The name caught me off guard, because the rest of the names were very lovey-dovey.
A gorgeous rosy shade.
The color is great!
