Looks more miss than hit in this collection, with the worst offender being cloud gait. Who wants to look like a corpse?

I HAVE to have that purple lipstick and the turquoise one would make a really neat-O layering lipstick. I wish the lavender cream colour translated more purpley and less pink. I love the turquoise eyeshadow!
I have been stalking this collection since its announcement in January. I was originally planning on getting everything minus the blue and God lipsticks. But I now think I’ll just get the other 3 lipsticks and the yellow and orange eye shadows.
Something for everyone! Some wild, some classic. Super colorways in the packaging, very inventive. MAC has blown some excellent packaging opportunities in the past year… A decent red, which MAC usually does well (and sometimes overdoes well.) some don’t apply beautifully, but are interesting shades, maybe toppers? Personally liking the light plums. But, have I been too conditioned by quasi-racy makeup names to have my mind plummet to the gutter over Vermillion Vee?
I found out that CLOUD GAIT and GOLD XIXI where luster finish awhile ago but these……. 🙁 they’re more like a Glaze formula…. stupid sheer lipsticks.
Serious MAC have some balls to make these visible on the lips when you make unique shades. I WANTED THESE SHADES! O____o
Hard Candy Fierce Effects Lipstick are a better version of these shade now and they are semi opaque at least.
And yes Technically now that I think about I do own a primary yellow lipstick in OCC Traffic and MUFE Flash Color. But I want a bullet one as well that was good.
Colour-wise, except for the pink CCB and the aqua/turquoise shadow (which looks patchy and dry in any case), there is absolutely nothing here that even remotely interests me. It’s bright and the packaging looks so nice and colourful but that’s about it.
Wow, so beautiful, I can’t stop looking! Not sure I could wear too much from this collection but I love how bold and bright they are. I love the packaging too, of course.
Yes. I will only use the Pink and the red lipstick but will probably buy more because it Looks so amazing.
Noooo! Cloud Gait you were supposed to be the Chosen One! I’ve been on the hunt for a good mint green lipstick. Oh well, still a fan of some of the other shades especially Royal Woo 🙂
Not sure if you’re into liquid lipsticks but the brand Makeup Monsters has a color (Surge) that is the perfect mint green.
These aren’t really my colors but I am such a sucker for the packaging! Plum Princess looks great–I’ll definitely be checking it out.
Oh my goodness, finally! Have been eagerly awaiting this collection since I saw instagram. I normally don’t go for lavender lipsticks, but Plum Princess is so unique looking, and that packaging is gorgeous! Also eyeing Cream Base in Sock It Xiqu – such a cute name and unique shade !
Pale Pipa, just for the sake of the packaging and because it is the only color I think I could wear and don’t own already.
I love the packaging! I like the pink and red lipsticks, the cheek colours and all the eyeshadows, though I couldn’t pull off the yellow one! It does look amazing, really vibrant.
I liked the Cloud Gait lipstick, looked like corpse lips!
Looks like the entire budget for this collection went into packaging! *ba-dum-tsssss*

The LE packaging is absolutely beautiful, and it’s refreshing to see a whole collection of happy brights!
I had such high hopes for Cloud Gait and Gold XIXI, I should have known better. The other two lipsticks are pretty but dupable.
I’m liking the colors more than I thought. Not sure enough to buy though.
Royal Woo and Electric Mandarin eye shadows! And DDdevlish lipstick are gorgeous! But I don’t know that they’ll work on me?
And then there’s the lipstick of my DREAMS: Plum Princess…and the lavender CCB, too. NEED.
Love the packaging! I’m thinking I might get Plum Princess, but I’m guessing it will sell out very quickly. I love the bright eye colors, but I wish MAC had kept the unusual lip colors opaque. They could have done glosses for people who prefer their funky colors sheer and less intense, IMO.
These colours remind me of the recent Visehart release in terms of colour choices, but alas not the quality. That Cloud Gait lipstick is truly awful.

It seems like this collection that is for a very small, specific niche that I am not a part of…I’m sure there are people that can make things work, but I’m not even going to think I’d get one use of any of these pieces. The pink ls is nothing unique, so it’s a complete and total pass.
Such a shame for the absolutely beautiful packaging. There.is.not one.single.thing.that.I.would.even.consider.buying.just.to.have.at.least.one.piece.of.this.collection.
I’ve passed on all the makeup sales and every single MAC collection this year and the end of last. I was a huge MAC and makeup junkie. After buying a ton of things from every single launch for the past 6 years or so, I am very turned off of MAC and makeup in general. Things are way over hyped and I’m unable to see things IRL and by a very lucky chance I was able to spend a few minutes feeling well enough to walk around ULTA for a few minutes, after swatching multiple things that I really thought I must have I was not interested in a single item and that is saying a lot for me.
I think I’m finally truly over makeup…YEA!

I am not the biggest MAC fan, I honestly don’t get the hype. All the lipsticks I own from MAC are no better than my maybellines but I still pick up a few and that Plum is looking right!! That will be the color I go to purchase.
