We appreciate enthusiasm for new releases but ask readers to please hold questions regarding if/when a review will be posted as we can't commit to or guarantee product reviews. We don't want to set expectations and then disappoint readers as even products that are swatched don't always end up being reviewed due to time constraints and changes in priorities! I got Mauvement and Musuem Bronze. All the pigments look gorgeous in person. Initially I wasn’t too interested in them but once I swatched them I wanted all. I really liked Antique Green but after swatching it, Vintage Gold captured me more but it looked too much like Sumptuous Olive so I passed on it.

why is it now the pigments are in less amt? the normal amt it has is about 7.5 g and now its 4.3 g. and still $19.50. But i check on the MAC website it saids 7.5g. Whats going on???I even asked the MA yesterday and she didnt even kno what to tell me.she came up with some random excuse.Even this girl on youtube had a video about this situation too!

..does anyone know why they are doing this cause its a sick ripe off to sell less product for the same price=/ But it is tempting to buy the pigments cause they are pretty=]

I want museum bronze, heritage, mauvement and copperbeam. I don’t care much for the full size as at this rate, even a sample size would last me forever.
oh Christine, would you sell samples again this time like the NN? please please

No, Sorry i wasnt very clear. I meant that this years pigments seem ALOT more pigmented than last years rushmetal collection (based on swatches). Mauvement seems to look like an odd one out when compared to the rest of Overrich.
It could explain the Weight difference though… Cos this years pigments seem far better formulated (when comparing say, mauvemnent to antique gold, in terms of density in colour payoff)
I am only going by the swatches, as I havent used these yet.

I bought Vintage Gold this weekend and it’s pretty similar to the new “Mink & Sable”, but when you add mixing medium to it, it POPS like whoa! Vintage Gold is the perfect name for it too!

I love it when they launch pigment collections!! Although is it just me or has every pigment been ‘gold’ pearled lately?? Nontheless..still love it!
