Sneak Peek: Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette Photos & Swatches

Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette
Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette

Too Faced Sweet Peach Eyeshadow Palette ($49.00 for 0.54 oz.) includes 18 eyeshadows inspired by peaches. I ordered mine directly from Too Faced when they restocked earlier this week (I did 2-day shipping… it literally just arrived this afternoon), and I saw that Ulta is supposed to release it online on March 25th, so I wanted you to at least have swatches should you need them. I’ll review it as quickly as I can, but with 18 shades, it’ll take me a few days to test everything!

It does have a sweet, peachy scent (cloyingly sweet to me, noticeable even when the palette is closed but not when worn, just as a heads up for those who are more sensitive to scents).

Don’t care. Love it. Gonna get it. Love me sweetly, o! cloyingly sweet peach palette!

(except you, Delectable. Shhhhh. Don’t speak. Oh, and maybe you, Puree. You can talk only sometimes, like bank holidays and blue moons)

Maggie Avatar

Impressed–I like the mixture here. Delectable and Talk Derby to Me are very sad looking. Hopefully applies better than swatched or much improved with primer.

Sarah Avatar

I’m kind of surprised at how sad Delectable and Talk Derby To Me look in swatches! I may end up holding out on this after all–some of the colors on skin don’t look as much as what I wanted from the initial pictures. Oh well–there’s always a palette to spend on. Thanks for getting swatches out, Christine!

Stacy Avatar

“Talk Derby to Me” looks very interesting. But for me, that’s the only one that doesn’t leave me feeling like we’ve seen this. And seen it. And seen it.

Katherine T. Avatar

Hmm, I don’t think this will score well. There are a few standouts and ok-looking swatches, but the 2 purples look really sad (look like F’s) , almost all of the mattes look dry and clumpy, and the rest will need a primer or cream base. I like Just Peachy and Bellini though

Annie Avatar

I’m so grateful that I was able to buy this on their second restock after their whole launching debacle when the site went down. The swatches look pretty good! Except for you delectable, you may need some work.

PS I’m surprised you had to order this yourself! I know you get lots of promo packages and whatnot, or maybe I’m new to this website:)

LINDARRAGNAR Avatar

That’s so strange that they don’t send you many products… On Instagram I see Soooo many “makeup aritsits” getting hundreds of too faced products, and they never do swatches or anything. You would think companies would send more to people who review and give swatches and feedback!

I actually have stopped buying from too faced because they give so much stuff to the Instagram people. Lol

Nivedita Avatar

Initially, I was not much interested because I thought it’s just one color scheme. But, you swatches make me feel differently. It looks more versatile than I initially thought. I think a lots of looks can be created.

Rachael Avatar

There’s so much hype on this but there’s just too many lame old browns. This should have more peaches and corals really. I picked up the Etude House peach palette and its gorgeous. It just doesn’t smell like peaches.

Gillian Avatar

I like the look of most of these! The scent is putting me off though. I never much liked the chocolately smell off the chocolate bar palettes so that might be a deal breaker. Is it as stong as the scent from those palettes? If not then I may give it a chance as those are my kind of colours, especially for Summer. 🙂

Fran Avatar

The only color that appeals to me is Bless Her Heart. It feels like Too Faced has been doing warm neutrals with pops of pink and purple for at least the last couple of years! At least olive green is a warm eyeshadow that looks good on me… but I liked Too Faced eyeshadows a lot, maybe about five years ago, but they’re gradually losing me as a customer with their reiterations of the same theme over and over again, and usually sub-par holiday palettes. Too bad!

Mariella Avatar

Luscious, Tempting and especially Bless Her Heart look like interesting colours but even looking at your swatches, a few of the shades look problematic and overall, there are too many shades that are unflatteringly warm for me. I’ll be eager to see the dupes. And as I keep saying, enough already with the themed fragrances in these eyeshadows!

Lisa Avatar

Thanks so much for sharing swatches! This really looked promising and I was seriously thinking about buying it. But after seeing swatches, I’m going to skip it. Some of the shades look patchy, won’t work on my skin tone, or are fairly similar to ones I own. Looking forward to dupes for Luscious though.

Asche Avatar

I’m so on the fence! I was all geared up to buy it until I some swatches on IG and thought “meh”. Now, looking at these swatches, I really like them. Guess I’ll wait to see the rating before I make a final decision.

Trina Avatar

I’m undecided some colors look good others meh. I’ll have to wait till i can see it in person. Its always returnable. My curiosity got the best of me and I bought it. I just wanted to see what all the hype was about and to be honest I just want to smell it! Lol

Tiffany Avatar

I’m so frustrated by how they’re handling this release. After seeing your swatches last night, I stalked Ulta’s website until it was posted. I added it to my cart and everything, but as I was checking out, it went out of stock. I don’t understand why they don’t just make enough for the demand. Why stir up all this hype for months and then not have enough palettes to go around to the thousands of people willing to pay 50 bucks a pop for them? I want this. I love all my Too Faced palettes, but Sweet Peach is leaving a bitter taste in my mouth.

Bonnie Avatar

Same here!!!! I’ve tried to get it three times now and failed every time just from being slightly behind the exact release time. It is seriously irritating me. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a too faced palette. It’s honestly making me reconsider how much I actually want it.

Tracy Graham Avatar

I’m in a love/hate place with this palette. Obviously from the swatches we all probably have most of these shades (or something close to it) in our stash. And those purples look so disappointing. Looking forward to Christine’s dupes. With that being said, I do love to collect LE items. However, it appears that everytime it becomes available it sells out rather quickly. I won’t stalk retailers for it, but if things calm down and I can find one, I will probably purchase.

Tray Avatar

I was so excited for this palette, even if peach eyeshadow might be dangerous for a hoompa loompa look. I guess the hype everywhere really worked ! But the swatches got me worried, the dark colors seem very weak…

Dua Avatar

I really wanted to get this palette, it was love from the first sight .. but the good looking colors are not worth buying this palette. I’ll go for the PB&J palette instead.

Rachel R. Avatar

I wish the purplish shades were better, but at least I can usually get Too Faced purples to work with primer. I was hoping the peach scent would be more light and natural. I like the looks of everything else. I couldn’t get this on either the original release or restock. The site was too busy. Here’s trying for in-store.

JESSIKA Avatar

Meh. I’ll skip this palette. I already have single eyeshadows from MUG that’s similar to all of these. TOO Faced has to do better. 🙁

Caroline Avatar

Cute palette, but peach and purple eyeshadows look truly terrible on me. However, I think this will be a hit with many, especially with summer drawing nearer.

Sarah S. Avatar

Ooo, I love peaches and I love the colors in this palette! Some aren’t so great, but it still might be worth the money since I don’t have a ton of these shades. Plus it smells like peaches, how can you go wrong?

Lori P Avatar

I’m going to get this when it hits Sephora online (I think it’s the 29th) but the only thing that worries me is the scent. I love the chocolate-y scents of the bar palettes but artificial fruit scents can either make me nauseous or give me migraines. It the palette smells like real peaches it’s a win but if it smells more chemical…then it might get sent back.

Cory Avatar

With the exception of Candied Peach, this has to be the most easily dupable palette I’ve seen in a long time… or I just have too much eye shadow lol

badgerpaws Avatar

Peaches n Cream and Georgia look like misses in the swatches, but they might preform better actually applied.

I’M SO EXCITED FOR THIS PALETTE.

Ellen Avatar

I generally love Too Faced palettes. They have good matte colors and usable combinations. I don’t understand this new ttrend of making the palettes smell like the colors they represent. I am very sensiitve to fragrance, especially in makeup, and now I cannot partake of the great new palettes coming out. All the recent ones, beginning with the chocolate bar collection, have been scented like their namesake colors. If Bobbi Btown can make a chocolate palette and keep it fragrance free, so can Too Faced. It makes them appear like a cheaper company, luring the dollars of a juvenile market, as opposed to the beauty dollars of a more sophisticated customer base, and it will be their loss!

_An_ Avatar

Thank you for the swatches! Some of them don’t look that pigmented. And some are more interesting than others. I probably have similar shades in other palettes and single shadows, but I just like the whole look and design of this palette!

I like the overall color theme…mostly neutrals, but I have plenty.
I guess this palette isn’t a must-have for me….. x)
