The Artistique Blush formula is supposed to have a “naturally glowing finish.” The formula is consistent: the blushes have a very soft, almost cream-like powder texture that blends out effortlessly to a luminous sheen with semi-opaque to opaque coverage (that is easily applied more sheerly or layered for true-to-pan color) and good wear (eight to nine hours). De Cherubique is almost a rusty pink kind of color–burnt in a way–but a little different than other shades I’ve come across in the same family. The finish was just shimmery enough to give the skin a luminous glow, but it wasn’t so shimmery that the finish emphasized pores. The pigmentation was good with a blendable, silky-smooth texture that was forgiving and easy to work with. The color wore well for eight and a half hours before I noticed fading.
A note on packaging: Surratt’s range comes in lightweight plastic pans, which aren’t ideal for long-term use (particularly if traveling or putting in a makeup bag), as his products are designed to be put into custom palette solutions. Personally, I put magnets on the back of each and keep them in freestyle palettes (like a Z-Palette) as it is more economical.

Same here… It’s on my list!
This one is my favorite Surratt blush of all the ones you’ve shown us and reviewed. It is just such a perfect, slightly burnt rose shade! It has a naturalness to it that I really appreciate sometimes.
Yes!! That’s exactly it, Nancy!
This colour on you is stuuuuunning!
Thanks, Adhishree!
I think you like Caitlyn Jenner Lipstick very much! I like it also, I don’t know if it will be released in Greece.
It’s an easy shade to wear! Though I think these were just shot on the same day 🙂
In the Netherlands they were sold out before I even knew they were released here 🙁 Bummer. I need to treat myself with a Surratt blush now to feel better 😉
That is a really nice blush!

Wow – that rosy pink look is gorgeous on you Christine. A lovely blush shade.
Thank you, Genevieve!
Oh wow, this is an unusual colour! I kind of like it but it’d look like I was sunburnt if I wore it, haha!
Maybe with a light hand 😉
That’s a really pretty color! I might get this one out of the new shades, but I was wondering if there’s any dupe for it?
Oops – I screwed up and forgot to put in the code for the dupes to show. They should show now!
With a light hand it might be very pretty on us pale people.
I bet it would be!
Lovely!
Agreed!
