The Luxe Color Blush formula is supposed to be a “silky” powder that is “long-lasting and fade-proof.” The texture is incredibly smooth with just the right firmness of press–not stiff but not powdery or dusty–and finely-milled. It blends out beautifully on the skin with a natural finish that’s not overtly shimmery but doesn’t look flat on the skin. It was nicely pigmented, while it was still easy to diffuse for sheerer coverage, if that’s your preference (or you over-apply). On me, the color lasted well for seven and a half hours before fading noticeably. I was impressed by this one that it definitely made me want to get the other shades in the range next time I buy from Zoeva (I bought three of the six shades–two more to be reviewed!).

Looks like Chanel Jersey. I think for a matte looking blush, this has turned out really well; very pigmented but not splotchy or chalky.
It has the same type of effect as Jersey, I think – this one is deeper so more suitable for a larger range of skin tones, too!
These sound interesting! Can’t wait to see the other colors!
Fingers crossed the other two do well!
Too warm and orange for me, but glad it scored well for those who can wear this. The color reminds me of Too Faced PBJ palette
I can see what you mean by it being very warm!
It’s nice to know that this performed so beautifully! Looking forward to your reviews of the other shades 🙂
Great to hear, Fran 🙂
Ooh, psych! This has been on my Zoeva wish list, and it’s been promoted to def get list. Gina’s getting harder to find, except through Nars.com. (And where’s Gilda?) wouldn’t have to add Infatuation, if I do a MUG order. Hope you review some of the rest of these, maybe the blush quads. Know you have lots in the pipeline. This is appreciated.
Interesting to hear that Gina is only on NARS – wonder why that is the case!
Love this!
Yay 🙂
Wow, I am so impressed with the performance of this blush. Which other shades will you be reviewing Christina? Thanks!
I don’t remember the names off-hand!
I am so averse to paying for shipping nowadays, but I am just going to have to suck it up and plan a Zoeva haul, because everything you have reviewed from them just looks amazing!
You and me both, Katie! I had to make sure my Zoeva COUNTED! when I placed an order.
could you please review some of the brushes? they are very affordable and i have heard some great things, esp the natural haired ones
Thanks for the suggestion!
I’m always lusting after a *just right* peachy orange-brown blush. This one looks fantastic!
I’m about to start a new job. Maybe I’ll treat myself to a Zoeva order once I get my first paycheck…
Congrats on your new job, Tessa!!
Thanks! Without going into too much detail, I’ll probably have more job/moving flux as the year goes on, but it should be worth it in the end!
That is such a perfect shade of blush for a natural, yet still colorful cheek! Looks fantastic on you, Christine, so I’m thinking this is a really great one for us lt. medium up into dark medium warm toned peeps! It’s like canned sunshine ☀
I think so, too! 🙂
It looks much pinker on the cheek than in the swatch!
When you blend it out, the undertones come through more!
How would you say this compares against MAC’s Gingerly? Thank you!
I don’t think I have that MAC blush! 🙁
Very nice! I still haven’t tried this brand. I must remedy that.
I hope you can try the brand someday!
This color looks great on you! I also like that this one can be sheered out.
Thank you, Chris!
I LOVE Zoevas blushes! They are some of my favorite among my large collection, glad you’re reviewing these!
What are your favorite shades, Emme?
This is so pretty and extremely well priced for its quality! I love Zoeva.
Me too! I wish they had a U.S. distributor!
The swatch looks so lovely and velvety.
It is very smooth!
I really love my ZOEVA blush in the colour “Shy Beauty”. It performs better on me than my MAC blushes and is so much more affordable 🙂 I am also a huge fan of their brushes <3 Greetings from Germany 🙂
Nice! So glad you’ve tried the formula, too!
Does Sephora au ship to US?
Thanks!!!
I don’t think so!
