Week in Review | November 14th through November 20th
I tell you, every week flies by for me in the winter! Every Thursday evening, as I put together Free for Haul Friday, I have a moment of, “No way, it’s Friday already? Wasn’t it JUST Friday?!” It’s no surprise that Laura Mercier’s Highlight 01 topped in as one of this week’s best products–and if you check out the comments on the review, many readers agreed (it’s an often-raved about product that I picked up to try for myself during Sephora’s sale).
This post seems like a good place to plug my little holiday writing stint over at eBay 🙂 I’ve been writing guides and creating collections (curating products under a theme). I hope you’ll check them out, and do let me know if there’s a topic you’d like me to write about! I’ve been thinking of writing one on wearing gold/silver eyeshadow and how to wear glitter.

Posts on how to wear gold/silver shadows and glitter would be amazeballs!
Thank you for the confirmation 😀
Thankfully, for your sake, the crazy onslaught of holiday products seens to have slowed down a bit! No wonder your weeks were literally flying by at the speed of light! A lull can be quite nice.
I personally have really been enjoying the EBay guides you have been doing! Getting lots of great suggestions as to what would be wise future storage and vanity purchases. Believe me, I needed these! And I most certainly appreciate them!
Oooh, I just noticed one I missed: the red lipstick one! Just read it and figured out that based on my wrist/forearm veins, I am a warmer side of NEUTRAL. My veins are bluish-green. And I look good in BOTH gold and silver.
Yep, sounds like you are definitely on the neutral side! I am warm-toned but not super, super warm-toned. I have one big green vein running down my forearm and then a totally blue vein criss-crossing.
It has! I have a few more palettes to finish up, but it is slowing down a lot. 🙂
Thank you so much, Nancy! I don’t take too many of the opportunities that come my way, but the eBay one seemed like a good one to try!
Love you EBay articles!
Thank you, Lily! 🙂
I really love your 5 tips for traveling with makeup and How to organize your makeup guides! it have a big help for me. 🙂 this past year I really impressed with Kevyn Aucoin face products( highlighter, contour, bronzer, blush, face powder) too. I have LM highlight in my wanted list and shamefully forget about them when Candlelight make me love them too much. LOL
Thank you!
lol! Candlelight is a really good shade – it is hard to beat 😀
Loooove your Ebay articles! Thank you very much for your effort! They are really fun and interesting to read 🙂
Could you write an article about a “timeless / all-occasion make-up look”?
Thank you for the suggestion, Karima!! 🙂
